Hello, this is a message from
an automated bot. A tag has been placed on
Category:Dr Manhattan albums, by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be
speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because
Category:Dr Manhattan albums seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the
criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please
see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.
To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting
Category:Dr Manhattan albums, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at
WP:WMD. Feel free to contact the
bot operator if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself. To see the user who deleted the page, click

Hello M90
Just tried to access Michelle Watt's page but it's gone ...
Is this temporary??

Thanks M90. I've taken your advice and I've logged my reasons for the page to be re-instated in the deletion review.
Cheers again!
An editor has asked for a deletion review of Michelle Watt. Since you closed the deletion discussion for this article or speedy-deleted it, you might want to participate in the deletion review. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Happiness12345 ( talk • contribs)

Hi Metropolitan90,
I am new to Wikipedia and that being the case I might be missing something here, but I am not really sure why my discussion/talk page on an image was deleted by you. I am referring specifically to the talk page on the image below. I saw a problem with the map so I wanted to start a talk/discussion page there. I saw that you deleted the page with Speedy Deletion claiming the parent article does not exist. The image itself (which I thought was the parent article) as well as the article image is linked to ( North Cyprus) exists. What am I missing here? Is the expected place for discussing about an image not that image's discussion/talk page?
Thanks. Ubardak ( talk) 01:43, 21 December 2007 (UTC)
Most of the edits on Fort Saginaw Mall were indeed by me -- almost all of the IP edits were made by me as well, back when I had a habit of not logging in regularly (note the comment about this on my user page). Please do not move pages to nonsensical titles. It is considered vandalism. If you would like to learn more about moving pages, please see the guidelines on this subject. If you would like to experiment with page titles and moving, please use the test Wikipedia. Thank you.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{

the article (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on
the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Listen pal, I don't know who you are, but you obviously have no life. There are a couple reasons I know this:
a.) you are an administrator on wikipedia, therefore you are nerd. Common knowledge says that nerds do not have a life, therefore you can be successfully classified as a man without a life.
b.) You have no idea who Keith Schipper is. He is a television producer who works for the Washington State Republican Party, who also runs a blog about internet dating adventures (which I'm sure you, a man with no life, knows all about.) He is a rising superstar in our Popular Culture and you treat him with such disrespect?
By analyzing Keith's spiel on ancient greeks, I have come up with a hypothesis about you. You are not a man, but rather a woman. How do I know this? You do not have a sense of reason and are completely illogical. I may be wrong about this, but I venture to guess that if you are a man, you still wear dresses in your spare time. I urge you to repeal your antics, and please give Keith the recognition he deserves. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Sequimite ( talk • contribs)

Metropolitan90. I saw where you reverted the description of a screw in the screw article. I moved that information to the screw disambiguation page, so now it is in both places. The reason I put it there is that the Screw article is now about shafted threaded fasteners (screws and bolts). I didn't make this decision. It was underway before I started editing the page. You might take a look at the discussion page. I have entered information about the changes I have made and intend to make to the article there.
It is my intention to undo your revert, but I won't do it for several days or until I've heard from you. Note that it is my intention to change the name of the article to Screws and Bolts. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Davefoc ( talk • contribs)
I agree with this and it was my intention to modify the first paragraph so it would be more suitable as an introduction to Screw/Bolt (I changed the name of the article to be better fit what the article is about now).
I have wondered with the change in the focus of the Screw/Bolt article (which I didn't initiate), if the screw disambiguation page shouldn't be where a Wikipedia search on screws should be directed.
Thank you for the reference to the Wikipedia Manual of Style. I was looking for something like that but didn't know how to search for it. Seems sort of obvious now though. Davefoc ( talk) 00:16, 31 January 2008 (UTC)

You as an administrator can directly edit the spam blacklist. You had agreed that this site should be removed from it, per my reasoning, and the lack of evidence. Hu12, an involved admin, having himself been the creator of the original article which spawned this long problematic situation has now closed discussed with Not Done. Hu12 has been blocking removal on basis which are not-spam. I feel that is a conflict-of-interest, potentially a case of ownership and I don't like it. I'm not comfortable with the idea that one admin is rejecting community consensus and exercising control over the blacklist. What would you suggest in this situation?
