M - I deleted parts of the McCoy article. My approach was to delete content that could be seen as not neutral point of view, also content that while factual, was in my opinion distracting or diluting from the core purpose of the article. What remains may not meet Wikipedia's definition of notability, but for the moment, no one has proposed the article be deleted. It is possible that people in the Native American community may find and add to this article, especially as how McCoy has contributed to same. That type of information would add more notability than adding detail on what positions McCoy head within the government.

I deleted more of the article and removed the templates. Given your closeness to the topic, you should not add any more to the article. The COI template was appropriate.
