Hey, Meegs/Archive 4, thank you so much for your vote and comments in
my RfA, which passed with an overwhelming consensus of 95/2/2. I was very surprised and flattered that the community has entrusted me with these lovely new toys. I ripped open the box and started playing with them as soon as I got them, and I've already had the pleasure of deleting random nonsense/attacks/copyvios tonight. If I ever do anything wrong, or can help in some way, please feel free to drop me a line on my talk page, and I will do my best to correct my mistake, or whatever... Now, to that bottle of wine waiting for me... |

Sorry to be such a bother, but I've added some stuff to my RFA for people to look at, and you don't have to if you wish, but I'd like to know how I handled those conflicts that I added. They're in the comments section. Again, I must state that I'm NOT trying to make you change your vote; I'd just like to know how the conflicts were handled, nothing more. Thanks, _-M o P-_ 03:13, 2 May 2006 (UTC)
I think we can do without capital letters in the AFC templates. See Wikipedia_talk:Articles_for_creation#AfC_Templates for my reasoning. :) - Mgm| (talk) 16:43, 2 May 2006 (UTC)

Hi Meegs - Thanks for your response to my question to Shyam regarding the copyright status of File:Commuters Reading Newspapers.jpg. I just realized the problem. It turns out that file name represents a flawed upload attempt; I uploaded the same image again with a new file name and the correct copyright information, and failed to delete the old file name. The correct image is (Image:NYC subway riders with their newspapers.jpg), which does have all the correct copyright information. My mistake. Thanks again for helping to clear it up. Hello again. I've inserted the template nsd into pictures (copyrighted) I uploaded and removed them from the articles. But Orphan bot is still notifying me? Should I list them all on my talk page so he can skip the notification, or will you delete them and, problem solved. Stupid little bot! <-- this is a joke! Death2 22:56, 5 May 2006 (UTC)
Thanks for pointing me to that licenseless image! -- Zanimum 17:03, 6 May 2006 (UTC)
It looks as though you have uploaded dozens of images, like Image:June75-tommy-bolin.jpg, under the tag {{ magazinecover}}. This tag presents a rough rationale for the fair use of the cover of a magazine in an article about the magazine. It does not apply to images within the magazine, nor the cover's use to illustrate the pictured person. Most of these images are not suitable for fair use in Wikipedia (see fair use counterexample 4).
You have also tagged a few images as promotional that do not fit our narrow definition of publicity photos. Please be rigorous deciding whether this tag is truly appropriate as well.
If you have any questions, you can ask them at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. × Meegs 21:43, 6 May 2006 (UTC)
If you're interested there is a pywikipedia framework script I made that can reduce the number of clicks somewhat. Do you know of anyone that knows a way to program a bot that can move pages? F e tofs Hello! 22:09, 7 May 2006 (UTC)
Hi, I don't know much about categorys. Article Rebel Meets Rebel needs a couple more. I think the band is over it was just a side project so you can add that one inactive bands. Also other than that the article is a stub ({stub} is not added), but nobody may not even notice that, the article isn't drawing too much attention (don't worry it's notable). Death2 14:42, 8 May 2006 (UTC)
Why did you block this user? The user did not vandalize after the test4. JoshuaZ 14:23, 10 May 2006 (UTC)
Yeah, I'd kill it. It leads to a principle where we do "Retired baseball players" and "Decommissioned battleships." We don't do living and dead people, so we should do living and dead bands.-- Mike Selinker 18:35, 10 May 2006 (UTC)
Hi once again, well its seems that user Siddiqui has once again strated his Vandalism, he is keep reverting some time very neutral editing without any explainations, his general attitude his that what ever he writes is always true. Dear Meegs,
I went to check something on the AWB and discoved that my name was removed from the approved user list. I am having some difficulty understanding this as I followed every instruction that you gave me and went back and fixed all the errors I had created. I took you suggestions about keeping the root Canon law article. I put in a lot of hours on this project which I believe will make possible for WP a really excellent article on Catholic Canon law.
I appreciated the corrections that you sent me and said I would use talk pages in advance in the future. That I would create an article before linking to it. I learned that a disambiguation term should be hidden in an article. I am sure that you got tired of correcting me. But, I actually learned a lot.
Anyway, I would hope that we could at least talk about this.
Thanks, Vaquero100

While I'm a Cubs fan myself (and I can't tell you how miserable the last few years, with two curses younger than ours broken, and... the great collapse... of which I cannot speak...), I must say that Fenway is the best house in baseball (yep, even better than Wrigley), so I'm happy to see its beauty at the top of your userpage. :)
Hi. I programmed and tested the script for archiving WP:AfC following your specifications. It is ready to go. However, a short look at the page leads me to wonder whether there is any established editor watching that page and creating articles. In fact, an anon asked the same question on the talk page yesterday.
So, what do you want me to do? If you say so, I can activate the script immediately, but that doesn't seem a good idea if the page is basically dead.
