Salam Matthew,
You are obviously choosing to overlook hundreds of organisations and media who have interviewed and published me. If having poetry published in highly regarded literary magazines like Poetry London, The London Magazine, Index on Censorship, Article 19, Exiled Writers Magazine and many others is not considered merit, then I fail to see what is. If there was nobody on the planet who respected my work, then all of these publications and media would not reflect any of it. I have been interviewed and read poetry in many different media including the BBC, Voice of America, House of parliament fund raising events among many others. I can go on and I don't frankly see the need to do so. There is no need for you to be so rude to some unsuspecting Wikipedia user who only wanted to contribute to a great source of information. I am highly disappointed in your attitude in the way you have replied to me. I asked for guidance as a user and in your position instead of offering help, you have chosen to launch a personal attack on me which is totally unnecessary and unprofessional. I am asking you again to explain how we can prove merit if not through all of the above. If you feel you are unable or unwilling to offer any help then please refer me to someone who can. Also, if you are as fluent in Farsi as you seem to claim then please read the tens of literary critiques on my work on the following link: http://www.shirinrazavian.com/farsi/farsi_events.html

Hello,
I'm a 14 year old boy that makes movies with my cousins. We call ourselves the Kuzkids. We've made 4ish movies and we want to start to get out there more to advertise. I have tried to get everything, IMDb page, Wiki page, and I managed to get a verified business. I can't get anyone to do an article on us, so I can use it as a source. I made one website, but you people won't acknowledge it because it may not have truthful info. I tried using Themoviedb.com, but they said it was on the blacklist. What should I do? I just want to get it on Wikipedia. What source could I use?, we've never had anything written about us by another person other than me.
Thanks, Kuzkid

Hello, Matthew. I understand and accept your rejection of my recent sandbox submission. But let me explain my situation and ask your advice.
When I first found problems with “Instrumentalism,” I hoped I could make a series of small amendments and elicit feedback. But I came to conclude that major revision was required and, after 3 months of trying to arouse interest in my suggestions on talk pages of half a dozen related articles, I got essentially no response. So I started composing a major revision.
Then I realized that sandbox had a place to submit proposals, which I did, thinking I would get corrections of markup or maybe even comments on substance. That’s when I got your rejection.
So what is your advice? I still want to offer a complete replacement of the existing article. I thought I might do it in three or four stages, deleting sections of the present article and replacing them with my new sections—always fearing I would make some mark-up error that would explode the whole effort.
I will appreciate any and all suggestions. Thanks. TBR-qed ( talk) 14:25, 4 January 2015 (UTC)
Matthew,
There is no reason to keep the Keith Richard Hill version of this entry. There were too many errors and private information and no references. I took the best parts and corrected the information, removed the private information and tried to put in references. Obviously I did it wrong so I need to correct that, which I presently will do. I have been a musical instrument maker for more than 43 years. Classing my work as a Luthier is inaccurate. Most of my instrument making has been harpsichords, fortepianos, and clavichords. Keyboard instrument makers are not usually called luthiers, they are called by the instrument they make. My work is unusual in that I make all three types of keyboard instruments as well as building violins, violas da gamba, etc. That I why I call myself, as I have done since 1972, an Instrument Maker. So the correct title for the entry should be: Keith Hill - Instrument Maker, not Keith Hill (Luthier).
Thanks,

It appears that the title of my article draft "Ultimate Restorations" has been misspelled in the message of non-acceptance I received from Matthew Vanitas. I see no way to correct this in the "edit" section of the draft page. Is there a way for me to correct the spelling of the title of my article? Is this even necessary? I don't see any place on the edit page to change the title, but it shows up as "Editing Draft:Ultimated Restorations" instead of the title I chose "Ultimate Restorations" Please advise.
Thank you, Steveswell

Regarding my draft article 'Orly Aviv', I have questions. I'll check the language but regarding the notability I need some leads. If an artist has won prizes from international competitions, has exhibited worldwide she can't be considered as notable ? If another wikipedia page mentioned her is it not a hint that she is notable ?
If that particular page is not in English but my draft article is, should I change the page into English ?

The article is certainly eligible for DYK inclusion, although there is (or was a sevn-day time limit. I suggest you follow the instructions at WP:DYK. If you have questions, ask at WP:HELP and in either case someone will assist. I have a aper due the 23rd, so I will be busy, but can take a look if you ping me. The big thing is making sure the article is well referenced, and having a catchy hook that is explicitly supported by a reference or references. Also, you get much more prominence if there's a free picture available to illustrate the listing. 05:44, 20 January 2015 (UTC)

Matthew, thank you for reviewing my article attempt I'll work on getting it better. Dear sire I am not an ordinary researcher I am an engineer retired from .... many years so I am an old man fond of ancient Egyptian history and specially ancient Egyptian language. I discovered a lot of things the most important subject is the famous ancient Egyptian language called hieroglyphic is not exactly the speaking lang. of the ancient Egyptians. Also the symbolic images are interpreted wrongly. A lot of mistakes in names ex : "SA YAMON CALLED SI YAMON" although it gives different meaning. I need to record my point of view to clear such mistakes affecting the ancient Egyptian history. thanks again . R.azz.miligi ( talk) 17:00, 19 January 2015 (UTC)

Good Pitch Hello, I have fleshed out the article with the 'notability' in mind - you understand there are few academically rigorous texts dealing with film as it happens, but a few articles I have linked to where films have had an impact. I have included updated relevances with showing that the Good Pitch model is a very top end documentary supporter - Academy Award nominees, and mainstream top end festival attendees and prizes. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Mobyjaws56 ( talk • contribs) 04:35, 23 January 2015 (UTC)
Thank you for your feedback, I note that contemporary films, especially feature documentaries, are hard to get rigorous articles for, so I am hoping my attempts to show that Good Pitch is a top end model, which has had a significant impact on both funding of and mention of top end feature docs. I have illustrated this with links to the recent Academy Award nominees, and to social impact in the USA for one film. There are several others I can include if this type of citation is acceptable.
I appreciate your time. Mobyjaws56 ( talk) 04:41, 23 January 2015 (UTC)

so it can be removed to avoid confusion. You can tell whether a draft is in line to be reviewed by checking the page (top and bottom) for a yellow "awaiting review" template. If there isn't one showing, the green or pink box on the page should have a "submit" button.

I'm disappointed that, since I'm merely a candidate in the UK General Election (not elected), I'm not allowed to have my own wiki article (it was rejected for this reason only). This gives the current MP, and any other candidate who qualifies for their own article, an advantage. It's perfectly reasonable to expect voters to want to read about all candidates before voting. British media will always give greater coverage to larger parties. Indeed, the aforementioned Telegraph & Argus was the only paper to even mention my candidacy.
Similarly, Yorkshire First do not qualify for any election coverage on TV and radio, even if they stand in every one of the 54 seat in Yorkshire.
Wikipedia strives for neutrality and equality, unlike other media. I believe candidates for major elections should be allowed to have an article, providing the usual rules are obeyed. The page should not endorse or criticize their policies, but merely state what they are with valid references.
If the rules cannot be reformed, would it make a difference if I mention my work as an author and street actor?

Thanks,
K Hill Keith R Hill ( talk) 05:01, 5 January 2015 (UTC)

Hello, I would just like to let you know, that the people at the AKJ article have been taking down my article, and not giving me any reason why, they don't tell what is wrong with my article, at least they can tell me so I can fix it. This why I submit the article here because I wanted to get approval from the staff. VEER™ ( talk) 01:36, 6 January 2015 (UTC)

Hi Matthew,
The article was rejected for lack of notability, could you please inform what more is necessary on top of being being published here: http://www.jolace.com/en/sluzby/a2-1-january-2014/ and about 600 users here https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/arabeasy-view-the-arabic/endioigfhooioekhpnbnmejhbdopoocf?hl=en https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/type-arabeasy-arabic-on-l/makncdgkhgjppmehkcgncbikakkdhndp?hl=en
Also, learners of Arabic (myself) have different needs and intentions than Arabic-speaking linguists when it comes to the transcription of Arabic, both of which merit being embraced by wikipedia.

Hi Mathew,
I would love to get together to discuss editing my article in which i tried to submit. Unfortunately I missed the time suggested due to work. Also I am still new to this and wasn't quite sure how to reply. My source info for it all is directly from the founder of the martial art i was trying to describe. Any help would be beyond appreciated. I am available Jan 20 if that helps at all. Once again I appreciate your offer and help. I hope all is well. Please take care. — Preceding unsigned comment added by TKDMaster069 ( talk • contribs) 06:39, 19 January 2015 (UTC)
Hi Matthew,
Appreciate you taking the time to look at the page. I'm just pondering over the comments left, any chance you could elaborate the 'Amateur sports teams generally do not rate their own article' comment, I personally don't understand the point you were trying to put across, also what is meant by the reference point.
If you can reply It'd be greatly appreciated
Thanks, James

Hello: Matthew, thank you for reviewing my article attempt.
you mentioned to me this .... the problem is you're trying to submit your personal research. Wikipedia is not an academic journal,.....
Dear sire ... I did not write a story from my own imagination the whole subject selected from Wikipedia articles like Nefertiti and Taduhepa . As a matter of fact the results of my research are compatible with selective informations in Wikipedia;I have to use.
Please give me the chance and help to improve my article.
thanks to you Matthew. R.azz.miligi ( talk) 18:07, 20 January 2015 (UTC)

{{db-self}}
so it can be removed to avoid confusion.
