Inline references support the text of an article and give source information. There is a "Cite" toolbar at the top of the edit window which allows you to automatically generate the required wiki code.
You click one of the templates, e.g. "book", and fill in the details.

Hello, Matrin44,
I wanted to let you know that there's a discussion about whether Dalmatians 3 should be deleted. Your comments are welcome at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Dalmatians 3 .
If you're new to the process, articles for deletion is a group discussion (not a vote!) that usually lasts seven days. If you need it, there is a guide on how to contribute. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.
Thanks, Mr. Guye ( talk) 21:18, 6 July 2014 (UTC)
Please do not create pages that attack, threaten, or disparage their subject. Attack pages and files are not tolerated by Wikipedia and are speedily deleted. Users who create or add such material may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Thank you. czar ♔ 01:44, 7 July 2014 (UTC)
Hey there, you're not alone in this Dalmatians 3 thing. I was working on it just today, I added an infobox and fixed it up a bit, and then I came on here a few minutes ago to find that speedy deletion nonsense that was saying it was "attacking a living person". Whatever. I'm agreeing with you here. -- Matthew - ( talk · userpage · contributions) 02:26, 7 July 2014 (UTC)
