Hello!
I'm Mator, a new user here at Wikipedia but a veteran user at other wikis. I have a basic knowledge of templates, a good sense of encyclopedia format, and a substantial background in wikis (I created and I am still the main contributor to The Halo Stunting Wiki, which I will admit needs major improvement.) I signed up here at wikipedia today for a few reasons:
On these points you can assist me by pointing me in a direction in which my contributions would be worthwhile and by giving me the basic run-down on how I should go about contributing to wikipedia and conversing with other wikipedians. I hope I have not established myself as lazy/inadequate in not searching more than I already have (the last 15 minutes) to find such information. Indeed, perhaps an established "start page" for new users with all of such information easily accessible and provisioned for may be a proposal for the future (if it does not already exist). Beyond this I have one final request: who should I contact for help with a minor infobox issue on a wiki other than wikipedia and how would I do so in a kind and respectful manner? If you could answer this I would be much obliged. Finally, I hope I have not been at all rude or inconsiderate in this first post - I have done my best to appear as unassuming as I can.
Thanks in advance, Matortheeternal ( talk) 19:09, 13 February 2011 (UTC)

Thanks for uploading File:Mator.ogg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia.
