Dear Sir, I am Dr. Mohammad Samir Hossain from Bangladesh. I was and still am too poor like my country. I was desperately searching for support for my research and seeing my desperate wish some educators from the so called non-accreditated university Bircham International University became too kind to buy me books and appove me 100% fund. I had to beg to many but got only one. So I jumped on my dream topic - Philosophy of Death and Adjustment and start working on the Impact of different philosophies on different bangladeshi people. I did it because in the science of death such research was never conducted, but if I can do or at least raise some point for it, may be some richer and more qualified people will find their interest in it and may proceed. My back ground thought was that remedy to many mental health problem might come out from this new branch. But who would raise me with it? Cause I did not have money even to buy papers or my daily food, let alone doing vast correspondences or take help from any accreditated university. Though fortunately I enrolled at Harvard Medical School with full waiver, but that was too small period for me to do any good job. Finally I thought may be Elisabeth kubler-Ross herself might find interest in it and togather we will proceed. But my luck did not support me, cause I found the news of her funeral on the very day I found her organization's web site. So temporarily my research work stopped upto which Bircham International University helped me. So till now I dream of proceeding more on the research with supports of knowledge from all over the world, and I do not even have a web site to introduce my thoughts. So the only light of hope became this free encyclopedia, and for reference I only had Bircham International University web site. So I desperately tried to promote the introduction of the university in this encyclopedia so that the research reference gets its better base. I know my letter is big and annoying, but sometimes we do annoying things for something better, and please believe me I tried to promote Bircham International University or any other that you all object, just to facilitate the birth of a new branch of a science. Please help me in every way, you do not need to ask me anything for editing or changing. If you all fail to help in a rational manner, I do not mind and will take it as a fate. I will see my reply through the condition of the article "Philosophy of Death and Adjustment". There is a project that desperately needs copy edit help (you being a professional) and I am not up to dealing with these folk. I am going to suggest you in my place (hope you don't mind) -- you may refuse, of course. Having a project and working with specific people, like me and my India copy editing and article writing, has been a wonderful mental uplift although I know nothing about India (but learning). I feel like you are way too hard on yourself and are not using the full range of your copy editing talents and this project surely would. Sincerely, Mattisse 12:18, 16 March 2007 (UTC)
No, this is not India.
User:Salix alba and another editor who saw my comments on his talk page suggested this project to me because of an editing discussion I had with User:Salix alba. The articles in his field, Mathmetics, are in dire straits, endanger of losing their FA status etc. and User:Salix alba has much work to do. I know little about higher mathematics and but I have worked successfully on subjects about which I am uninformed -- editing articles in such a field can be very helpful to the articles as the editors tend to make assumptions that the general reader knows what is being said. An outside copy editor can clarify and improve the flow by insisting on having the editors spell out what they are saying, thereby allowing the article to be accessible to the general reader. I know that once I get editing, the subject matter doesn't matter. I get interested whatever it is. And User:Salix alba seems quite open to suggestions in organisation, wording etc., plus he is a nice guy and wants help. Anyway, just a suggestion. (I empathise with your state of mind right now.) Sincerely, Mattisse 19:29, 16 March 2007 (UTC)

Hi Paul Pigman,
Sorry for the blatant spam, but you have yourself down as interested at WikiProject user warnings WP:UW. There is a discussion on going here that might be of interest to you about the future of this project. There are two strawpolls on the talk pages and the second one is about the future of the WP:UW project. Now we have the end in sight we are looking at wrapping up the project and merging it with Template messages/User talk namespace WP:UTM and creating a one stop shop for all userspace templates. As you have yourself down as interested in this project we thought you may have some input on this issue, and would like you to visit the discussion and give any thoughts you may have on the matter. Cheers Khu kri 10:32, 19 March 2007 (UTC)
You catagorized Carman Hall for speedy deletion, though I don't know why. Carman Hall is a residential building of columbia university and has the same merit as the other dorms that have their own wikipedia articles. The article is not as complete as the other articles, but it should not be deleted.

Sorry to hear your bowing out. Wierd how an apparently simple task can be so stressful, although I quite understand having struggled with such things myself. I've now tended to skip the lead when reading maths articles (indeed most wp articles) as the first definition section generally offers up a better definition.
If your interested my best attempt at simple maths writing was at [ [2]]. The idea there was to start from something the reader knows and generalises it. -- Salix alba ( talk) 19:09, 23 March 2007 (UTC)

I think you also missed the link to Donald Brown, the author. You might like to use this verification that was provided to check that there's a couple of dozen links to that page (stub though it is). Donald Brown is famous in my professional subject area. I imaging others wouldn't know who he is, though, and they are less likely to if they have to search outside Wiki to find information about him. How much does the book cost? hello!
Just responding to your response re my entry for College Music Update.
You're right that College Music Update does not bring up huge amounts of Google entries, other than the CMU website, but that is probably because people in the music industry generally know the service as the CMU Daily, though it's official name is College Music Update - in much the same way everyone calls the NME the NME even though it's official name is New Music Express.
I have also got together a number of references to College Music Update / CMU Daily from established music industry / music business / music college websites which I can include.
As I've been away and missed your tag i think the entry has been deleted. I can put it back up with the references and perhaps under the name CMU Daily rather than College Music Update - but wanted to check what you think before I do so - so you don't think I'm just ignoring your comments and trying to upload the same entry!
Let me know what you think

Anyway, you are listed as a member of the WikiProject hence this post.
We are not bad in our assessments but some projects have all their articles assessed while others are lacking more than we are. Obviously I don't add the template myself, as it would take me ages! VandalProof does all the work for me as it updates the log with hardly any intervention from me. All i do is press "Update Log". I suggest you ask User:AmiDaniel for more information. -- K.Z Talk • Vandal • Contrib 06:05, 1 March 2007 (UTC)

Thanks for your support in my recent RfA which passed unanimously - thus proving that you can indeed fool some of the people some of the time. I'm still coming to terms with the new functionality I have, but so far nothing bad has happened. As always, if there's anything you need to let me know, just drop me a line on my Talk page. Thank you for supporting me in my RfA. Thanks for your vote, I've received an overwhelming 96% support and successfully took a copy of bucket-and-mop from the main office!
School graduation exam and HKCEE are both pressing in, so I might become inactive for a while. But soon after that, I look forward to working with you! -- Der yck C. 03:37, 3 March 2007 (UTC)
Hi, Paul. Or is it Pigman? Anyway, thanks must be extended for your excellent support at my RfA. A more splendid collection of alliteration I have never come across at the ol' Wiki. By the way, do you have "vandalbane" trademarked? I think I will steal it for mine own purpose. ;) Thanks once again, such an unexpected turnout and level of support. Thanks for your support on my RfA. It passed with 55/0/0. I'll try my best to be worthy of the trust the community has put in me. If there are any of my actions you have a problem with or a question about, please feel free to discuss this with me and if needed to revert me. If there is anything else I can help you with (backlogs, comments, ...), you can always contact me on my talk page. Fram 14:58, 5 March 2007 (UTC)

You may want to look at the current version of the article and consider revising your opinion since the current version has multiple reliable sources including a note about a notable award the community has recieved. Thanks JoshuaZ 02:28, 8 March 2007 (UTC)

Hi I'm so sorry to be causing wikipedia so much trouble! I understand what you mean completely. I wrote some articles on beauty queens I either know or represent(I'm a manager/publicist) can you please delete all of my articles? I don't like them having tags for deletion so when the girls I represent view them see people calling them unnotable and "fake", it may cause more drama among us.

The above-named arbitration case has closed and the decision may be found at the link above. Rosencomet is cautioned to avoid aggressive editing of articles when there is a question of conflict of interest. If edit warring or other conflict arises, it may be best to limit editing to talk pages. This notice is given by a clerk on behalf of the Arbitration Committee. Newyorkbrad 16:59, 24 March 2007 (UTC)

Re: User talk:Alastair Haines#Human Universals. I think you missed Human Universals#External links which verifies the few facts on that page. Where can you purchase it? If these things are not provided, how is something an ad? Keep up the good work. Cheers. Alastair Haines 22:30, 3 April 2007 (UTC)

Hi! You left a message for me about tagging an entry about "Chris Bailey." I would certainly recall if I'd written such an article. It was probably something I edited exactly because it was NOT notable. I can't find the history of the "Chris Bailey" page, do you know how to do that?

Pigman,
I just found you put a prod on a page I'd done. I looked at the Wikipedia rules and see why you did it, and would be glad to put the item on the dictionary site. However, is it possible to recover the original so I don't have to do it over?
Thanks.

Hi. I'm sorry to bother you, but as a LoCE member, I just wondered if you would be willing to have a look through the Sale, Greater Manchester article. It is currently a Featured Article Candidate and needs a copy-edit for grammar by someone who hasn't yet seen it. Any other ways to improve the article would also be welcome. Thank you very much, if you can. Epbr123 13:17, 5 July 2007 (UTC)
It seems that the assessment of Irish articles has fallen off the radar but recently Flowerpotman, Sarah777 and I have been doing a little work on this as well as actually classifying articles (actually Sarah has done the most work). Anyway, you are listed as a member of the WikiProject hence this post.
We are not bad in our assessments but some projects have all their articles assessed while others are lacking more than we are. We can really use a few active editors to bring assessments to the fore. Please reply on the assessment talk page as to what you can do. Please help out. ww2censor 17:30, 21 August 2007 (UTC)
