Thanks for uploading Image:GreenBandJuno.JPEG. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the " my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:Cont.US.JPEG. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use. Suggestions on how to do so can be found here.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the " my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Do you want to opt out of receiving this notice? Melesse ( talk) 23:53, 13 August 2008 (UTC)

Hey again. I noticed this from your previous message on my talk page. Your signature must contain at least one link to either your user page, user talk page, and/or contributions page (see WP:SIGLINK). Currently your signature does not contain any links which means SineBot treats all your messages as unsigned. I suggest you change your signature to the following:
Code: '''[[User:Loopus9|<span style="color:blue">Loopus9</span>]]'''
Retains colors and styling, but is now a validly linked signature. Also see WP:CUSTOMSIG. -- Obsidi♠n Soul 22:37, 5 July 2011 (UTC)

Excuse me Sir/Ma'am, but if my recent addition of information to the superhero page was a "violation of Wikipedia policies", then I am afraid to say that Wikipedia seems to have a policy of concealing the truth if it is sensitive, although verified (having used Wikipedia over several years, I am sure that's not true). If you have ever read about a superhero (if you haven't, I suggest you read that very same article on Wikipedia. Oh, and do check out the photo of Superman on that page), you will know that the edit I made added a vital piece of missing information to that page. If my language was offensive, why don't you enter the same information (which is, as I said, a very pertaining, albeit ignored piece of information on superheroes) yourself somewhere on the page in the language that you prefer?
I'm afraid I don't see why my edit to the page V Festival was non-constructive. I deleted a broken table, and left the fixed table underneath it. If it is wikipedia's policy to leave broken tables, then the site's policy itself seems non-constructive. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2.100.10.16 ( talk) 16:17, 16 July 2011 (UTC)

Hi,
your signature is too big. Using the 'big' tags the way you do since 10 August 2011(UTC) is against policy. I personally don't have an issue with that, but it's known to drive some other wikipedians up the wall.
While there is no hard limit how many pixels a sig may occupy, and yours wouldn't violate it anyway if there were one, some oppose big tags in sigs vehemently. So...
Please remove the two pairs of 'big' and '/big' tags. Cheers. - ¡Ouch! ( hurt me / more pain) 09:38, 12 August 2011 (UTC)

In regard to this article, after it was tagged for speedy deletion, the article creator blanked the whole page. That means that they agreed to the speedy deletion. In such a case, rather than reverting the blanking, one should tag the page with {{ db-author}} to indicate that the article creator has blanked the page and thus consented to speedy deletion. -- Metropolitan90 (talk) 00:02, 28 August 2011 (UTC)

patrolled. Please do remember to click the 'mark this page as patrolled' link at the bottom of the new page if you have performed the
standard patrolling tasks. Where appropriate, doing so saves time and work by informing fellow patrollers of your review of the page, so that they do not duplicate efforts. Thanks again for volunteering your time at the

Dear Luke,
Thank you for your remarks. I am working particularly on Wiki bios of people I know. I was logged in as Grammarian99 but For example, I was forgot my password, couldn't retrieve it to a valid email address, so re-joined as Grammarian999.
I was once a philosophy student under John Silber, the former gubernatorial candidate (1990) for governor of Massachusetts. I have been trying to wiki his bio to present more NPOV and more citations from external sources. In researching Dr. Silber, he commented that Stevin Hoover was one of the most interesting students he ever had over his long career as a philosophy professor. So that took me to Stevin Hoover, who as it turns out was incarcerated in the early 2000s for a white-collar crime. I have tried to take a public domain photo of Stevin Hoover and load it onto his wiki bio, and I have tried to post a "bio box" on Hoover to the right after digging through records of his marriages and children and books he's written and so forth.
I can't get the box to work, and I can't get a public domain photo (of which there are many, including the YouTube of him) uploaded onto his wiki bio.
Any help you might have! Thanks. G. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Grammarian999 ( talk • contribs) 00:32, 22 September 2011 (UTC)

Thank you very much for your comprehension and collaboration.
Hello Lukep913. Thanks for patrolling new pages - it's a very important task! I'm just letting you know however, regarding
Tyrone Tucker, that tagging articles for speedy deletion moments after creation as lacking context (
CSD A1) or content (
CSD A3), and articles being created through
Article Wizard, is too fast. It's best to wait at least 10 - 15 minutes for more content to be added, and the articles should not be marked as
patrolled. Attack pages (
G10), blatant nonsense (
G1), and copyright violations (
G12) should of course be tagged and deleted immediately. Thanks.

Thanks, another stupid question. I can (more or less) put like 5 citations for every statement in the bell article, which makes it really ugly. I mean only 1 person added 1 citation in that article since its inception...I mean there's no one even adding any content to have a contraversy with. I decided to cut down to at most 2 citations ever for one topic; ideally one online citation and one not online citation. I've stripped 75 unnecessary duplicate citations from that article in last 2 weeks or so. Any opinion if that's right or wrong. I think I can strip another 85 citations from it (just a gut feeling) 66.234.33.8 ( talk) 21:55, 25 October 2011 (UTC)

I don't know if you'd recognize me, but in the past I was highly active as a recent changes patroller and administrator, helping to handle vandalism and other important issues on the site. In early 2010, I found myself getting busy with life outside of Wikipedia and lapsed into inactivity, only editing anonymously from time to time. Just a few weeks ago, we happened to cross paths in the midst of an article in crisis. You handled the incident well, accepting my help with the vandalism and preventing some damage yourself -- when I went to request semi-protection for the page, I was surprised to edit conflict with your own request! -- and you even took a moment to welcome me. I was impressed. It was good to see someone who so obviously cares about preserving the site, doing the same things I used to do so often, and doing them well.
Since my very positive encounter with you, I've felt motivated to return to Wikipedia, helping out where I can. My record can speak for itself: I've reverted tens of thousands of vandalistic edits, and have logged over 20,000 admin actions in my tenure here. If I ever achieve that level of activity, again -- and even if I don't -- you should know that you played a part in my return. The community will have you to thank for that, and so will I.
It's been a long time since I've given anyone a barnstar; all these new ones don't really seem to fit. I notice you've been around for a while, yourself, so maybe you'll appreciate the old school standard.

Thanks for uploading
Image:Wiki.JPEG. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a
claim of fair use. However, it is currently
orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed.
You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see
our policy for non-free media).
Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot ( talk) 05:21, 16 November 2008 (UTC)

Hi Lukep913. After reviewing your request for rollback, I have enabled rollback on your account. Keep in mind these things when going to use rollback:
If you no longer want rollback, contact me and I'll remove it. Also, for some more information on how to use rollback, see Wikipedia:New admin school/Rollback (even though you're not an admin). I'm sure you'll do great with rollback, but feel free to leave me a message on my talk page if you run into troubles or have any questions about appropriate/inappropriate use of rollback. Hi,
your signature is too big.
SuggestBot predicts that you will enjoy editing some of these articles. Have fun!
SuggestBot picks articles in a number of ways based on other articles you've edited, including straight text similarity, following wikilinks, and matching your editing patterns against those of other Wikipedians. It tries to recommend only articles that other Wikipedians have marked as needing work. Your contributions make Wikipedia better — thanks for helping.
If you have feedback on how to make SuggestBot better, please tell me on SuggestBot's talk page. Thanks from Nettrom ( talk), SuggestBot's caretaker.

Hi. Thank you for your help with the vital work of patrolling new pages. I noticed that you are not marking some of the pages you've reviewed as

I believe in a collaborative work especially when it comes to edit a biography of a political person. As mentioned by one of Editors, referring to Google Books; there are a lot of information to use. The danger is what to take and what to leave. I am opened to improve the referencing on our update.
Thank you very much for your comprehension and collaboration.
Hello Lukep913. Thanks for patrolling new pages - it's a very important task! I'm just letting you know however, regarding
Tyrone Tucker, that tagging articles for speedy deletion moments after creation as lacking context (
CSD A1) or content (
CSD A3), and articles being created through
Article Wizard, is too fast. It's best to wait at least 10 - 15 minutes for more content to be added, and the articles should not be marked as
patrolled. Attack pages (
G10), blatant nonsense (
G1), and copyright violations (
G12) should of course be tagged and deleted immediately. Thanks.

I am trying to tackle the introduction of that article (which is really above my head), should I put in a hidden comment to prevent other editors from doing that? I looked for about an hour in featured articles and could not find how to do it (maybe that's a sign it don't belong in an article), but how do you do this for a 4 line center justified poem:
