A tag has been placed on Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Rik E. Spoor, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done for the following reason:
Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not meet basic Wikipedia criteria may be deleted at any time.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". Hello LovelyLillith,
I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Emily Grossman for deletion, because it seems to be promotional, rather than an encyclopedia article.
If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.
You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. MarkYabloko 10:31, 11 November 2015 (UTC)
While I disagree with the speedy nomination as "advertising", I'd advise you to re-word the article so that the very first sentence, the "lead", tells us why she is WP:NOTABLE and worthy of a Wikipedia article. The article at present starts "Emily Grossman is a PhD in cancer research.". Well, you probaby mean "has" not "is". But the fact that she's got a doctorate in cancer research isn't anything that special. Not everyone with a PhD should be in Wikipedia. Tell us what she does, why she shoud be in the encyclopedia. Something like "E G is a British science communicator and populariser, and an advocate for encouraging women in science." With sources to support those statements. Then go on to say "Grossman has a PhD in cancer research and expertise in molecular biology and genetics." Better sources would be useful too.
There's more good stuff in your sources which could be useful to include - her stage name of Emily Sidonie (needs a cross-reference), her date of birth (1976 or 1977, as the CNJ article says she's 28 in Dec 2006 so either her 28th or 29th birthday was in that year). Plenty to go on to make it a more substantial article. And you perhaps should stress more about her writing and broadcasting, with links to support this.
For future reference:
Good luck in the efforts to get more women scientists into Wikipedia - but just make sure that you tell the world, in that lead sentence, why they are in the encyclopedia. Just having a PhD isn't enough. (Though it's better than a lot of biog articles which start off "Joe Bloggs was born in Dullsville, Ohio, the third son of Bill Bloggs and Nancy nee Smith"!). Happy Editing! Pam D 16:47, 11 November 2015 (UTC)
Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current
Arbitration Committee election. The
Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia
arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose

topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The
arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to

Hello LovelyLillith, My name is Stephanie Barker and I am a student at the University of Colorado Boulder. I am currently enrolled in a Digital Anthropology class, which attempts to answer how the digital world affects culture and how culture affects the digital world. For my final project I am doing an ethnography on women Wikipedia users and as a member of the WikiProject Women page I was hoping I could ask you some questions about your experiences editing Wikipedia pages. 1. Have you ever been locked into an intense editing war? If yes, please explain the situation to me. 2. How did you become interested in editing Wikipedia pages and did you have any initial fears/hesitations when you started editing pages? 3. Have you ever been a victim of a mass deletion or other vandalism on Wikipedia? If yes, please explain the situation to me. 4. How would you describe your gender? 5. Is there anything else you would like to share with me about your experiences as a Wikipedia editor? Thank you for taking the time to read this email. I would like you to know that I am only sharing my research with my professor and the other students in my class. If you would like me to send you a copy of my final project, I would be more than happy to! Sincerely, Stelba90 ( talk) 00:59, 2 August 2016 (UTC)

Just a heads up, I have closed this AIV report primarily on the basis of this earlier edit summary. I can believe this person is upset that from their point of view, they should have got a patent but didn't. Or it's perhaps something to do with the lawsuit OddzOn Products took out when they were told Koosh balls couldn't be copyrighted. I've taken the patent owner information out entirely as I don't think it's particularly important to mention in the article, and there is the possibility he is right (per Charles Darrow and Matthew Fisher - see the ledes of both articles for why) but can't prove it, or there is the possibility he is completely wrong and just bitter about something. In any case, AGF is best. Ritchie333 (talk) (cont) 16:00, 5 April 2017 (UTC)

This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, you can place a request here. Stalwart 111 02:05, 8 September 2013 (UTC)

Hi, I have deleted file:Manley UofM Architecture School.jpg as it was not free for all kinds of uses. A suitable licese is CC-BY-SA-3.0. If the photographer is willing to release with this license then we can have the image. Under fair use, the image must not be replaceable, eg building demolished.
This includes the ability to impose
site bans,
topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The
arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to
review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on
the voting page. For the Election committee,

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Sandra Witelson, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Parietal. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Hi LovelyLillith. I'm an editor of the Italian Wikipedia. I'm trying to participate to an IEG with the project "Women are everywhere". You will find the draft at this link https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Grants:IEG/Women_are_everywhere It would be great if you could have a look at it. I need any kind of suggestion or advice to improve it. Support or endorsement would be fantastic. Many thanks,-- Kenzia ( talk) 15:39, 3 April 2016 (UTC)
