Hello Justalewis,
I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Western Oregon University Wolves for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly say why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.
If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.
You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. MrScorch6200 ( talk) 18:05, 22 August 2013 (UTC)
Please delete and we'll reupload when we have more content. Thnx! Justalewis ( talk) 18:31, 22 August 2013 (UTC)
I would hope that as a teacher leading a class of students on how to use Wikipedia, you might create something better than this empty article. If you and your class would like to build up an article incrementally, please do so in your user space (perhaps at User:Justalewis/Ackerman Residence Hall) and move the article to article space when there is sufficient material (with citations please) to meet Wikipedia guidelines. Thank you, WikiDan61 for showing me the correct chain of events from article stub creation to complete article upload. While I appreciate your recommendation to build the article incrementally in the user space, I thought the point of Wikipedia was to build in aggregate over time - ideally with contributions from users outside of the ;circle of students working on this particular project. If users are only encouraged to upload the final product, there certainly wouldn't be much in the way of editorial consensus-building and article extension and revision over time. All that being said, delete away and we'll upload articles when we have enough content to justify their inclusion in the archive. Sorry and thnx! Justalewis ( talk) 18:29, 22 August 2013 (UTC)
The article Black Rock Mountain Bike Area has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your
edit summary or on
the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the
proposed deletion process, but other
deletion processes exist. In particular, the
speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and
articles for deletion allows discussion to reach
consensus for deletion.
