I see that you've locked down the edit war on the Lori Swanson page. Please note that IP 213.146.164.142 has contributed information to the Swanson entry that is neutral in tone, and which offers citations to the Star Tribune (Minnesota's largest newspaper), and MinnPost (Minnesota's most important online news source). There are no unsubstantiated positions taken in those edits. The only problem, so far as I can see, is that one or two users are determined to suppress the information contributed to this page - all of which has been documented in the Minnesota media. Respectfully, I ask that you allow the information to be restored. There is nothing factually ambiguous here; it's all solid. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 213.146.164.142 ( talk) 15:18, 17 April 2009 (UTC)

Dear Jonathunder,
I am a student in Seoul National University in South Korea doing a research project on Wikipedia. I am very impressed about your insight and active contributions. I thought you could provide some opinions really worthwhile. So, would it be possible for you to take some time off and give an online interview via E-mail? It would provide my project a lively voice of an actual administrator. And this will be of a great meaning; your experience, concerns, opinions and ideas would add a lot to my project. Actually I'm in real need of something concrete; for my project is about the mechanism a biased version of explanation is settled, and as you will probably guess, understanding such things involves a lot more than just watching explicit process. Again, I would really, really appreciate your help.
It will not take that long; in fact everything will depend completely upon your will. If you are willing to give some help, would you mind mailing me swiftly? Thanks a lot. I also leave this message to other administrators' user talk for my research. And further I'm a starter so I couldn't find your e-mail address. Please don't be upset about that.

Let me refresh your memory, because I clearly see that regulations have somewhat obscured it. Quoting WP:Revert: "if you feel the edit is unsatisfactory, then try to improve it, if possible - reword rather than revert." I have not yet seen a single example of a "chaste" veteran Wikipedia editor who actually made the effort to find references for unsourced claims (although I strongly feel that in this case it was fitting the description of the main article subject, so why source the obvious?) rather than ruthlessly reverting, thus making other editors "run errands." Isn't that what Wikipedia should be about – mutual help by equally respected members of the community, regardless of the time they've been here? What I see instead is something like "I'm just enforcing a policy by assigning a parking ticket. I have many shots that I can't identify, some are historic-type places. I'm working with User:RFD on the La Crosse images. Might you be able to identify some of my images taken in Prairie du Chien or Winona? I see you uploaded images to the national register pages for their counties. Can I email you some of these images? Please respond here on your talk page or you could email me on my userpage. Royal broil 14:00, 17 October 2009 (UTC)
