This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because... To the person who "speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance", please do some research on Soke Del Saito.

Karate and the appointed Soke, Del Saito, by Master Kenzo Mabuni, the son of Kenwa Mabuni, founder of Shito-ryu, may not be "important" to you, but it is important to the entire karate culture and it thousands of Shito Ryu practitioners.

"Content that violates any copyrights will be deleted." There was absolutely NO COPYRIGHT infringement as I WAS THE PERSON that wrote Soke Saito's biography and submitted it to various publications and websites many years ago.

So tell me, just what proof does Wikipedia need to allow Soke Saito his page as originally submitted? And who am I conversing with... RedDog? What kind of name is that? Is that a credible person working for Wikipedia?

• To get your published material on here without copyright flags you would need to submit an OTRS ticket to the OTRS team on Wikipedia and then wait for them to approve it - IF it is in fact true that you wrote the material and can prove that you therefore retain the copyrights to the material. "submit an OTRS ticket"... I'm not sure what that is or where it is explained. "retain the copyrights to the material"... That would not be possible because I did not copyright the biography that I wrote for Del Saito. I'm not sure anyone would go through the trouble of copyrighting material that was written in less than an hour...? Anyway, it would appear that I should just write a new biography... however, the new biography would have to contain some of the same distinctions and history leading up to Del Saito promotion to Soke, head of the Shito Ryu Karate-Do lineage.

After I write the new biography, is it best that I create a new page since the original one has been deleted by the red dog?

• OTRS is explained at WP:OTRS, and if you have any further questions about it you can ask Moonriddengirl ( talk · contribs) for help, she's an onsite expert in copyright as it relates to Wikipedia, and would be in the best position to help you with that process. As for recreating the article, if you choose to recreate it you can put it back in the place it was before, but I would recommend that you create the article in Wikipedia's article's for creation process, as the people there can help you create an article that will not immediately end up deleted on Wikipedia.
