A little advice

I think you need to understand that Wikipedia isn't a "breaking news" type of website, we don't need to be the first to publish that someone is about to release a single or an album, etc. In fact, we like to let others do it first. So, rather than watching somebody's Twitter feed and the moment you get a hint that a new song is coming, adding it to Wikipedia, you should wait for the news organizations to publish something about it, then add the info and use that newspaper website as a reference. Just because an artist says they're going to do something, doesn't mean they actually will, but if they do follow through and do it, and if it's notable, somebody will report on it.

Looking at your edit history, I see that many of your edits have been reversed, so that should give you a hint that maybe you're doing something wrong. Feel free to reach out if you want any advice on how best to edit here. Robman94 ( talk) 22:45, 4 April 2019 (UTC) reply

Uncivil edit summary

This rudeness that you conveyed in your edit summary was completely unnecessary and unwarranted. There was no need to be uncivil and brand me a "liar". Saying "No you are a liar" is not appropriate when my intentions were the contrary. I honestly couldn't care less whether the song peaked at number one or number 100; I was not lying, the source showed the song peaked at number one here, which is what I was going with when I originally added the peak, however it is clearly an error on Rolling Stone's side, as the week the song debuted shows it debuted at number two, here, and is backed up by this Rolling Stone article. So yeah, as I did the research now, I admit, I made a mistake. I apologize for that, but I kindly suggest, instead of being uncivil, you read WP:CIVIL and refrain from attacking other users and, explain why other users' edits are wrong without being rude. Thank you. AshMusique ( talk) 19:11, 3 July 2020 (UTC) reply

First of all, the source doesn’t even show GOOBA is at number 1, it shows that ROCKSTAR by DaBaby is number 1, the reason you think it’s number 1 is possibly because of the fact you may live j a diffetrent country or either something else, anyways, the song did not peak at number 1, end of story.
