You removed my photos of my pee chee folder from the Pee Chee Folder page. Was that because I hadn't marked the right copyright license? I tried to release as much as I could. I've had trouble with this in the past, when I went on vacation, came back and learned that a photo I'd taken had been removed and deleted since the rules about copyright release had changed and I couldn't respond with an updated license in the month I was away. That photo is gone now, and I don't have a copy, unless you, who know better, have a way to find my picture of cardboard in the dustbin.
Or maybe you think it's copyright infringement to publish my own photos of a Pee Chee folder because the folder is copyrighted? Please clarify. -- Zachbe 12:06, 2 October 2007 (UTC)
Thanks for your response. I understand Wikipedia philosophy, and don't want to break any copyright laws, I just wanted to clarify that no matter what tag was on the image, any image of a Pee-Chee, in your reading, would be copyright infringement. If the issue is the tag, I'm happy to put any tag on the image. There are a thousand types of tags, and new ones develop regularly, and understanding them all is beyond me. What I don't understand is at what point the image belongs to the Pee-Chee company and at what point the image belongs to me. If I take a picture of the Empire State Building do I theoretically need the permission of its owners to publish it? Album covers are copyrighted, but somehow they're generally published on Wikipedia...-- Zachbe 17:53, 2 October 2007 (UTC)

Thanks for joining, the project is very new, please look around the Project page and the talk page for things you can do or add some ideas of your own to the list. In addition to working on breed taxobox design, we are considering our relationship to other projects, particularly the three currently extent and one proposed for horses, and we're still working on defining our scope and what we consider the articles of top importance to our project. Also, for some reason a lot of Ag sites seem prone to vandalism more than maybe some other areas, so it's always helpful if you add a bunch of pages to your watch list and patrol them for vandals.
