Hi,
You removed the negative review of Slash's album from Tickets There without explanation.
Is there an issue? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 193.120.247.194 ( talk) 12:30, 6 April 2010 (UTC)
I think that's fair enough. I read the site regularly and it's normally alot less harsh on bands, reviewer seems to really dislike the record. I only reverted because I see you edit alot of GN'R related pages so I thought it was a fan.
If another editor reverts, we won't fight it.
So what if theyre credited in the notes! if they arnt on the cover it shouldnt be saying they are featured... manu musicans/band use extra musicans for a song but it still isnt a feat. song (often keyboards and strings)... it isnt different in this case... —Preceding unsigned comment added by 95.209.214.212 ( talk) 14:21, 9 April 2010 (UTC)

The writing credits for all "Appetite" songs has been given to all band-members at the time... Steven owns 15 % of the writing credits...-- Arneandre ( talk) 15:02, 25 April 2010 (UTC)
Check the
Appetite for Destruction page again...
This is taken from credits section: "All songs credited to Guns N' Roses; "It's So Easy" co-credited to West Arkeen and "Anything Goes" co-credited to Chris Weber.[24] Actual writers and composers listed."... If all songs are credited to Guns N' Roses, It means they are credited to Axl, Slash, Izzy Duff AND Steven... When they say "Actual writers" it is not an "official" writing credit...
Besides you could look at the book inside the Guns N' Roses Greates Hits Album, there Paradise City's writing is also credited to Axl Rose, Slash, Izzy Stradlin, Duff Makagan and Steven Adler
One more thing... Slash also says so in his Autobiography.... and Steven sued Guns N' Roses, because they tryed to take his writing credits away from him, when they fired him... GnR lost the case, and Steven was promised 15% writing credit on every song he recorded with them besore his depature-- Arneandre ( talk) 17:56, 25 April 2010 (UTC)
On the first page of the album-book (Appetite for Destruction) the credits are given: "All songs written, arranged and performed by Guns N' Roses except "It´s So Easy" co-written with West Arkeen and "Anything Goes" with Cris Weber." -- Arneandre ( talk) 18:05, 25 April 2010 (UTC)

However, if the copyright holder is a party unaffiliated from the website's publisher, that copyright should also be acknowledged.

The exact genre shouldn't be mentioned in the lead sentence; that's what the infobox is for. The lead sentence also seemed to drag on. As for the commas/periods thing, check here:

Understood about the Myles Kennedy thing, though. I just thought it was misleading. He is better known as the lead singer of Alter Bridge than the former lead singer of The Mayfield Four.

I've finished with my revision of the article you requested. Nothing too drastic was changed, though I did fix some of your quotes - when you quote a sentence, you don't need to use square brackets to bring the initial capital down to lower-case (such as "[n]othing too drastic..."). Square brackets in quotes indicate a change, generally replacing context-specific words ("my" for "[his]", etc), rather than parsing. It helps neaten things to just bring the case down without the brackets, That aside, the only thing I would recommend is to add the singles into the discography section. I know the links are redirects at present, but just listing their names with year of release would add greatly to that section. Good luck with the GA nomination! GRAPPLE X 05:14, 15 March 2011 (UTC)
This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Adler's Appetite (EP), and it appears to include material copied directly from http://www.adlersappetite.com.
It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. The article will be reviewed to determine if there are any copyright issues.

So, we've recently been having a back-and-forth about Chad Stewart and Jeremy Guns leaving the Tracii Guns lineup of L.A. Guns. You don't like my sources, but I think we should change it anyways. While I happen to completely disagree with you, I understand your reasoning, and I think I have found a solution that should make us both happy. You originally said "Social networking sites are not reliable sources. Please find a reliable third-party source for the changes." However, according to WP:SOCIALMEDIA, "...pages on social networking sites such as Twitter or Facebook should only be used to support personal information about subjects—in articles about those subjects—if the page is confirmed by another source, such as the subject's website, as belonging to the subject. When such authentication is not possible, pages on social networking sites should not be used." So if you can confirm that a Facebook account is a person's official account, then it can be considered a reliable source. On Tracii Guns's official website, it links to his official Facebook page. Please correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe this means that the Facebook page can be considered a reliable source for the change. Woknam66 ( talk) 15:10, 12 April 2011 (UTC)
How is adding an unnamed but confirmed album against WP:CRYSTAL and WP:HAMMER? CRYSTAL just says no speculation, and since i have a source, it isn't speculation. HAMMER just days not to create a page until you have a name, and I didn't create a page. Woknam66 ( talk) 16:20, 16 April 2011 (UTC)
Didn't we decide that the reason we didn't want to use Tracii's Facebook post was because he was a little too vague? It seems like this post is pretty specific. Woknam66 talk James Bond 15:09, 26 April 2011 (UTC)

If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of that website's terms of use of its content. However, if the copyright holder is a party unaffiliated from the website's publisher, that copyright should also be acknowledged.
If you have uploaded other files, consider verifying that you have specified sources for those files as well. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged per Wikipedia's criteria for speedy deletion, F4. If the image is copyrighted and non-free, the image will be deleted 48 hours after 21:32, 31 July 2010 (UTC) per speedy deletion criterion F7. If you have any questions or are in need of assistance please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. feydey ( talk) 21:32, 31 July 2010 (UTC)
For the source that you added for emo on This Is War, you have to read the discussion Talk:List_of_emo_artists#30_Seconds_to_Mars. I deleted that source for the consensus at the talk page. You did a vandalism.-- 79.46.183.240 ( talk) 00:59, 22 August 2010 (UTC)
Do you understand?-- 79.49.110.113 ( talk) 22:44, 23 August 2010 (UTC)
What? Can you read? The review says that the album isn't emo (When they were mining a post-grunge or nu metal or emo vein, this was a liability, but now that they’ve shifted their music with the shifting times, adopting a hybrid of the Killers’ retro new wave and My Chemical Romance’s gothic prog).-- 95.247.183.84 ( talk) 23:02, 25 August 2010 (UTC)
Hi, I honored that you thought to ask me. I'm going to be traveling most of this week so I won't get to it until the weekend. You might want start a post at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Rock music to see if anyone wants to take a look at it in the meantime. Good luck J04n( talk page) 19:57, 25 October 2010 (UTC)

Hi , thanks I was unsure about that, have you got a link to the guideline for future reference? Off2riorob ( talk) 21:38, 2 January 2011 (UTC)
Cool, much appreciated. Off2riorob ( talk) 21:48, 2 January 2011 (UTC)
Hey, no problem about that. Yeah, the last time (s)he has edited the Sevendust band page was on January 10, so hopefully that can be considered a past issue. I would've liked to say that the person hasn't edited since yesterday, but I just saw some edits from that IP which are still not as constructive as they could be; I'll need to take care of that. Cheers. Backtable Speak to me concerning my deeds. 17:42, 13 January 2011 (UTC)

I am keenly aware that I was at three reverts. I don't know if you're aware that you're at four, the last being reverting (for the second time) Christian from the lede. -- Walter Görlitz ( talk) 22:51, 9 February 2011 (UTC)
I own Hype on DVD and in fact it's available on Netflix Instant View if you have the service. If you don't, don't worry, most everything in the Grunge article has been cited by me, including all the information from Hype. WesleyDodds ( talk) 02:33, 18 February 2011 (UTC)

As I was glancing over your page, I couldn't help noticing your Pages Added templates. I took the liberty of copying and pasting a few of them to my own page and replacing your pages with my own. I hope you don't mind. Shaneymike ( talk) 19:45, 29 April 2011 (UTC)
