Hello, I'm
AntiDionysius. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article,
Afro-textured hair, but you didn't provide a
reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to
include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at
referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on
my talk page. Thank you.

The text you added to the Culture of Haiti article include passages that were copied directly from your sources. This was detected by automatic plagiarism detection software. For copyright reasons, this contribution had to be deleted. Remember that additions to Wikipedia need to be written entirely in your own words.
Please review the Plagiarism and Copyright training module before making additional edits to that article. Ian (Wiki Ed) ( talk) 20:12, 12 September 2023 (UTC)

Hi @ Hortur0, I noticed that you assigned yourself the 2010 Haiti earthquake article to improve as part of your assignment. I wanted to let you know that this article is a Good Article, which means that it is among Wikipedia's best work. While there might be room to make a few small improvements to Good Articles, they are going to be more complete, overall, and harder to work on as your first major contribution to Wikipedia. For that reason, I recommend that you pick a different article to work on - one that has scope for improvement. Feel free to reach out if you have any questions. Looping in @ Bolibenj. This is the second time you have been warned about this unacceptable type of edit. Do it again and you will be blocked from editing altogether. DMacks ( talk) 22:06, 3 November 2023 (UTC)

Doug Weller,

Bolibenj: you'll need admin tools to see
one of these edits, which is oversighted rev del'd, and there are two copyright notices above. I suspect that if a non-student editor made edits like this, they'd be blocked; perhaps a word to the wise ?
