@ Gmatsuda: [1] page 80 says that " the government of the United States was accepting the Japanese view that the Korean Peninsula belonged to Japan.", while page 83 says " About 120,000 people of Japanese ancestry were put into these camps, but Koreans were spared this although some were employed as interpreters.". Also, the website I referenced is from a university, and a GA state university at that, which should be a reliable source
