Hello.
I have a question about deletion of wiki page Business school PAR. The reason was G8 (Pages dependent on a non-existent or deleted page).
What page is deleted on non-existent? Please explain in detail.
Thank you. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Parovci ( talk • contribs) 08:01, 1 October 2012 (UTC)
Dear Gogo Dodo,
I wrote an article this morning, it was the "Before and After Treatment" in "Dental Implant". Now, I can't find it, it looks like it's disappeared. What happened? Is it deleted or something like this?

Hi again! I always wondered why people complained about bad entries rather than changing them, but now I have an idea. I really know nothing about the subject, so I don't feel comfortable doing an edit, plus don't want to get in an edit war over a topic I know nothing about...I had looked up Syracuse Cultural Workers because I saw a reference to them and had never heard of them before. The entry is described as a stub but the second paragraph is an angry tirade and lacks references. Any thoughts? Jeaniac ( talk) 20:44, 5 October 2012 (UTC)

Hello there - thanks for the comments. Agreed that it is best if someone else writes it, I will just wait for a little while. Agreed about the critisizm directed against me personally - and I even know where it came from: I did a rough translation of the wikipedia article into Russian. Russians are extremely opinionated and actually the idea of the global warming is hostile to them: despite the fact that the film with Al Gore was never screened in Russia legally, the common opinion is that this is an "American propaganda". What reinforces me in that opinion is that when I wrote the Russian translation I cited filmthreat.com about my Student Academy Award film. They cited filmthreat.com regarding the Al Gore film, out of all sources. I.e. it is the same people who are attacking. Also the Russian argument was that the Student Academy Award is not a notable award (there are a lot of articles on wikipedia where winners are on the page). But I agree that the article should be written by someone else, or at least majorly edited, and that there should be just bare confirmed facts there, so I requested deletion, also to escape the Russian-speaking critical attacks of the film I am affiliated with (I did not want any scandals etc etc).
Thanks again for your support/understanding! — Preceding unsigned comment added by Y marianna ( talk • contribs) 16:37, 29 October 2012 (UTC)
Hello, I think the website Film Numud that you have removed some links to matches the link guidelines. Namely it includes content that would not be reproduced on Wikipedia and in that sense is similar to such websites as CIA World Factbook, travel guides, etc. The website includes documentary films on various world countries, listed by country. Talk: Stevie Vann page I re-created because I wanted to discuss a previous deletion of the subject "Stevie Vann" page and the singer Stevie Vann herself, with a view to restoring or creating a new "Stevie Vann" page.
The criterion you quoted for a speedy deletion, G8, "21:17, 29 October 2012 Gogo Dodo (talk | contribs) deleted page Talk:Stevie Vann (G8: Talk page of a nonexistent or deleted page)" may not apply because an exclusion for talk pages without a corresponding subject page is given in Wikipedia's Criteria for speedy deletion, G8, to quote -
"This excludes any page that is useful to Wikipedia, and in particular deletion discussions that are not logged elsewhere".
So "G8" may not be a valid criterion for a speedy deletion of a deletion discussion; your speedy deletion was particularly invalid I suggest because you seem to have exhibited a demonstrable disregard for the need to log the discussion elsewhere. Tut, tut.
It appears that Philosopher, with knowledge of your summary deletion of that talk page I started, it, has dug out my deleted text using his administrator abilities and pasted it into his talk page here.
So my thanks are due to Philosopher for logging my content but no thanks to you, Gogo Dodo, as you seem to have disregarded the deletion discussion I was attempting. So I object to your summary deletion but if you now restore the Talk: Stevie Vann page you deleted, perhaps suggesting why you think it ought to be deleted then we can take the discussion from there on that page, where it belongs. If you insist and refuse to reverse your deletion I intend to request elsewhere that my Talk: Steve Vann page be restored, overruling your inappropriate, invalid, heavy-handed and contemptuous abuse of administration powers. Peter Dow ( talk) 20:07, 30 October 2012 (UTC)
Thank you for your reply. However, I find your explanation "I deleted the talk page per G8 because your post did not lead to the deletion of the article as the exemption is intended to cover." unconvincing and somewhat fanciful as an explanation for the intention of the exemption. I didn't read that intention stated explicitly anywhere. Did I miss something?
Whatever the intention of the authors of G8 it seems to me that anyone should be allowed to discuss the need for a subject page and to question why an original subject page was deleted without having their contribution to the discussion censored.
I did note this in the Criteria for Speedy Deletion page - "A creator who disagrees with the speedy deletion should instead click on the Click here to contest this speedy deletion button which appears inside of the speedy deletion tag." but I could not see such a button anywhere on the Talk: Steve Vann page nor did I know where else to look for such a button.
No worries
Now I am pleased to note that Philosopher seems to have restored the deleted Talk: Stevie Vann page, reversing your deletion. Therefore I am content to leave matters between us at that and thank you for your time.
I have resumed [ discussion of the deletion of the Steve Vann subject page with Philosopher] and I quoted there the earlier part of my communication to you from this page, if you are interested to know. Peter Dow ( talk) 21:56, 30 October 2012 (UTC)

Despite assuming good faith, and considering the huge discussion going on at the Russian wikipedia about their version of the article ( [1]), I think the probability of Marianna using another editor to keep pushing for the inclusion of her article is far from zero. I am sorry for this misunderstanding -- I am new and am attempting to add content, not to promote. In adding the existence of this book for information purposes, should I add the title, author and ISBN number only? I have mistakenly added the website/link in an attempt to provide information, but that appears to the be issue. May I add the title, author and ISBN only, to conform as other books and movies are added to Wiki? Respectfully yours, Lucy Paquette Lucy Paquette ( talk) 18:52, 3 November 2012 (UTC)
Hi Gogo Dodo.
I sincerely apologize for the adjustmests I tried to make regarding the tribal council voting history tables on several of the season pages about the TV series, "Survivor." Just so you know, I had noticed similar changes on the pages for their first, second and third seasons prior to the changes I tried to make, and felt nothing more than inspired and/or compelled to do what I could to chip in.
I just checked the pages for every season and looked at every tribal council voting table, and the only table that still needs to be changed back is the one on the page for "Survivor's" first season in Borneo. I trust that that will be fixed soon.
One more thing, I also noticed that a few season pages have a discrepancy with the contestant tables. The ones on the pages for seasons 7 (Pearl Islands), 22 (Redemption Island) and 23 (South Pacific) have duplicates of contestant names, and even I cannot figure out why that's so, let alone what to do to make the tables look neater. I'm sure there's a way. I just cannot figure it out.
Again, my apologies for what I tried to do. It was all because I noticed similar changes on some pages. Nothing less, nothing more. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Patrickballoonman ( talk • contribs)

Hi Gogo Dodo,
I just wanted to say thank you for being on top of things with Wikipedia. I made a rather crazy comment on a page that you went back and fixed. I am an avid Wikipedia fan and user and I grow weary of people dismissing Wikipedia as a non-credible source. They argue that "anyone can go in and change it", to which I point out "yes, and it can be changed back". Being a doctoral student, and a researcher I set up this bogus account to do just that; record exactly how long it takes wikipedia editors like yourself who dedicate your time to this site to fix it. So far, the results of my research are quite promising. I apologize for the inconvenience of having to correct such comments, but I required hard data. I thank you for your dedication to this great site with my utmost sincerity and respect. - JC. — Preceding unsigned comment added by TestMaster ( talk • contribs) 17:36, 20 November 2012 (UTC)

Hello,
Several months ago I have added some links to Wikipedia (Film Numud website links from a few country pages, namely Palestine, Micronesia, United States and a couple others, less than 10 in total). After a month or so you have removed the links commenting that they infringe WP:EL and not explained any further how they infringe it.
I explained my position on your talk page which you have never answered and archived my message. Therefore I have reverted your edits believing that you have agreed with my explanations. Now after more than a week you have reverted my edits once again, with the same comment that they infringe WP:EL and without replying anyhow to my previous comment at your talk page explaining that they don’t infringe it.
No other users seem to either support your or my side as when I have added the links they stayed until you removed them and when you removed them they stay until I readded them.
Please note that I have not reinserted all the links you have deleted but I have weighted each link separately and reinserted only the ones I thought to be most valuable.
Please explain your position. I hold my own position on the issue. I believe a vote may be needed (RfC or similar) to establish Wikipedia guideline on this particular website if you will insist, just as guidelines on some other websites are explicitly mentioned in WP:EL.
Previous comment on the issue I made in October:
Hello, I think the website Film Numud that you have removed some links to matches the link guidelines. However, stated article was about a social network, and several networks have Wikipedia pages, such as Facebook, MySpace, Twitter, LinkedIn, etcetera. Hey—I saw the following in my watchlist and I'm pretty sure Technic Pack was a Minecraft article and not a G10 based off of the AfD discussion. Just wanted to bring it to your attention in case the action was unintentional.
(Deletion log); 22:16 . . Gogo Dodo (talk contribs) deleted page Technic Pack (G10: Attack page or negative unsourced BLP)

Yeah, I was concerned about this as well, and was going to ask you about it. Seeing that deletion log confused me, and I think the rationale of "Recreated AfD article" would have worked better. Blake ( Talk· Edits) 02:54, 29 October 2012 (UTC)

Hi! I just noticed that the CoI article you deleted a few days ago, Marianna Yarovskaya, has been recreated as Marianna yarovskaya (without cap on the family name) by another user, User:Inga nataya, whose only activity before now had been on the article Inga Nataya (a LA-based fahion designer). Despite assuming good faith, and considering the huge discussion going on at the Russian wikipedia about their version of the article ( [1]), I think the probability of Marianna using another editor to keep pushing for the inclusion of her article is far from zero. Can you look into the matter? 178.134.206.93 ( talk) 10:28, 3 November 2012 (UTC)
Gogo Dodo,
I am sorry for this misunderstanding -- I am new and am attempting to add content, not to promote.

- JC. — Preceding unsigned comment added by TestMaster ( talk • contribs) 17:36, 20 November 2012 (UTC)

while the deletion discussion is continuing its course readers are reading such unnecessary content on WIKI. the content needs to be deleted now! not tomorrow, not later, but now. If you're unble to do so then others will continue to delete the info (or garbage) until it's taken off wiki. it's that simple. anyone who agrees with such hatred against antoher race should be ashamed of themselves. Hello,
Several months ago I have added some links to Wikipedia (Film Numud website links from a few country pages, namely Palestine, Micronesia, United States and a couple others, less than 10 in total).
You recently deleted EnvisionWith.Me with reasoning "A7: Article about a website, blog, web forum, webcomic, podcast, browser game, or similar web content, which does not indicate the importance or significance of the subject". However, stated article was about a social network, and several networks have Wikipedia pages, such as Facebook, MySpace, Twitter, LinkedIn, etcetera. I am not a part of this entity, the article had accurate and reputable sources, and the content was grammatically correct and factually accurate.
Please clarify why this article did not fit standards, and if there is a possibility of improving the content for potential un-deletion.

Gogo Dodo hi,
I created a talk page which you deleted noting that there is no associated page. It was my understanding that in the absence of a page, creating a talk page was the first step. If I have misunderstood please provide a link to the page telling me how to create a page. Is there anyway I can retrieve that talk page so I don't have to recreate it.
I am having trouble retrieving my password to log in so please reply here.
