Hello. Regarding the recent revert you made: you may already know about them, but you might find Wikipedia:Template index/User talk namespace useful. After a revert, these can be placed on the user's talk page to let them know you considered their edit inappropriate, and also direct new users towards the sandbox. They can also be used to give a stern warning to a vandal when they've been previously warned. Thank you. 47.227.95.73 ( talk) 11:11, 12 September 2023 (UTC)

Thank you for your advisory note on my article. May I suggest that you clean up your clean up notice? 'encyclopediacly' is not a word. I have amended the spelling of 'writter' to 'written', but I am not sure if this correction appears on all uses of your notice. You may care to check this out. The article did have a reference section, although there was no 'References' heading. You may want to change how you use that function. Shipsview ( talk) 11:15, 30 April 2024 (UTC)

Hello, Draft:Nuns Island Theatre isn't advertising, so I removed the G11 tag that you added. The article seems to be neutral, but I moved it to draft because it didn't have enough references. G11 is only for unambiguous advertising. If an article sems to be advertising but you think other users would disagree, you can tag the article as {{ advert}} so that other editors will see the tag and perhaps improve the article. Hey there! Thanks for your work in removing vandalism from Wikipedia. One of the edits you reverted recently was a really ugly racial slur that someone dropped into Western suburbs (Melbourne). If you see something like that, please find an admin and ask for the edit to be "revision deleted", usually abbreviated "revdel". This removes the edit from the history of the page. We can revdel the edit itself, the edit summary, and/or the editor's username, depending on the circumstances. Thanks again! Joyous! Noise! 00:38, 22 May 2024 (UTC)
How do you make hyperlinks so that they don't show the whole title as it's listened in the hyperlink but rather the words you want to show it. For instance for my Bruce A Young article, I wanted to downcut the display of CTV Television Network to CTV (to make it proper-looking, without removing the link) for the 1996 - 1999 UPN/CTV show "The Sentinel". I want to do the same for like "Richard Bey." RobertFL1991 ( talk) 23:59, 23 May 2024 (UTC)
when editing articles, I have a hard time positioning the picture I want to put in the middle on the main info box at the beginning /info/en/?search=Bruce_A._Young Notice how the picture isn't positioned right? I had trouble putting the The Richard Bey Show logo as well in the past. RobertFL1991 ( talk) 03:03, 24 May 2024 (UTC)
I would like people to see it and if they want to add more sources to strengthen the page, they could, but it's like I can't get a start.
Hi Gaismagorm. When warning users, you should make sure to include the article that the warning is about. Best, voorts ( talk/ contributions) 20:26, 26 May 2024 (UTC)
Hi Gaismagorm,
You have recently edited a page related to articles about living or recently deceased people, and edits relating to the subject (living or recently deceased) of such biographical articles, a topic designated as contentious. This is a brief introduction to contentious topics and does not imply that there are any issues with your editing.
A special set of rules applies to certain topic areas, which are referred to as contentious topics. These are specially designated topics that tend to attract more persistent disruptive editing than the rest of the project and have been designated as contentious topics by the Arbitration Committee. When editing a contentious topic, Wikipedia’s norms and policies are more strictly enforced, and Wikipedia administrators have special powers in order to reduce disruption to the project.
Within contentious topics, editors should edit carefully and constructively, refrain from disrupting the encyclopedia, and:
Editors are advised to err on the side of caution if unsure whether making a particular edit is consistent with these expectations. If you have any questions about contentious topics procedures you may ask them at the arbitration clerks' noticeboard or you may learn more about this contentious topic here. You may also choose to note which contentious topics you know about by using the {{ Ctopics/aware}} template.
