Hi Freemesm! Thanks for contributing to Wikipedia. |
This is a common problem within wikipedia. If you notice, or think someone is being biased, you can try talking to them about the problem first, or pointing them out to an admin if you think they are doing it on purpose.

Dear Freemesm, you have added a reference at the Historical Context section of the 2013 Shahbag Protest article. But unfortunately the reference tag you have provided does not have a previous declaration, as a result an error is being shown. Please fix this problem at your convenient time if possible. Thanks for your effort! Regards -- Tarif from Bangladesh ( talk) 19:16, 9 February 2013 (UTC)
I have found the corresponding reference in the article 1971 Bangladesh atrocities. Thanks again. -- Tarif from Bangladesh ( talk) 19:29, 9 February 2013 (UTC)
I totally agree with you - there are too many photos in the 2013 Shahbag Protest photo gallery, and it sort of drives the focus away from the main topic. But then of course, everyone who showed solidarity wants to be up there: I suggest we should think about creating another article only listing all the communities/schools who showed support. And also citing the sources in that section: most of them are just Facebook photo albums with photos ranging from 100 to down to 8 photos! A very few of them are sourced with a news article, only 10-12 of them I believe. So, yeah that's a mess too.
Another point - someone questioned the credibility of Shahbag claiming it as all politics, in a paragraph under the domestic section, can you notify the author to cite the source, make it not biased, and keep his POV out of this?

Hey Freemesm; I'm dropping you this note because you've used the article feedback tool in the last month or so. Can you find me a source that makes it clear that Jamaat-Shibir was uniquely or even mostly responsible for the deaths? The source you quoted says some policemen were targeted by Jamaat-Shibir and injured in clashes. This is obviously not the same as saying that most of the people who died were killed by Jamaat-Shibir. If such a source cannot be found, it would be inappopriate to talk of "the violence by Jamaat-Shibir" in relation to the deaths of its own members. Unless they somehow stole police guns and started shooting themselves en masse, which is unlikely to have happened. :P eh bien mon prince ( talk) 19:33, 13 March 2013 (UTC)

Thanks for uploading
File:Hefajat-e-Islam Bangladesh logo.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a
claim of fair use. However, it is currently
orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed.
You may add it back if you think that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see
our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the " my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Your recent editing history at Ghulam Azam shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.
To avoid being blocked, instead of reverting please consider using the article's talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. See BRD for how this is done. You can post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection. DMacks ( talk) 01:50, 15 July 2013 (UTC)

Thanks for uploading File:NBC logo 2011.svg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information.
To add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. Thanks for your work on the top 4! I'm glad that I was proved wrong about the lack of editors on the page. If possible, though, would it be possible for you to request renaming of your files so that the "SVG" or "vectorised" part is no longer in the name? I know the Commons uploader has a bug that doesn't let you upload files with the name as a raster, but they are allowed, and it would be great to have slightly cleaner names.
In your file descriptions, too, try to use local links. Putting a colon before a file name, as in [[:File:Foo.svg]] will stop it from showing the image in the box, and if the file is only on Wikipedia and not commons, try [[w:File:Foo.svg]].
Also, I notice from your gallery that you worked on an SVG of the semipermeable membrane. There is also an SVG I worked on (briefly) of the same image that predates yours. I don't know which one is better (yours has far better colours, but the 3D effect on the other one is good) but it seems silly to have two. What do you think? We could try merging the two, perhaps?
Thanks again for your work, and hopefully I'll see you on the main lab at some point, too. :) NikNaks talk - gallery 20:23, 10 May 2014 (UTC)

Firstly, the article is not a crap, it is based on authentic references. Secondly, it doesn't matter what do you want and what not, things should be according to Wikipedia policies. Thirdly, user Prtanu changed the name and redirected it without any discussion or notice. So, I reverted it. -- Rossi101 ( talk) 13:59, 4 March 2013 (UTC)Rossi101
