I keep asking but no one can tell me what 'da heck that means. I use it, often, and get contorted looks. Can you help?-- Buster7 ( talk) 23:59, 30 May 2008 (UTC)
Hi. Basically the {{s-line|system=TWM|line=Green|next=Callerton Parkway}} part of the code tells the s-line template to use the "TWM" information, for the Green line. This means that the s-line template automatically looks for Template:S-line/TWM left/Green and Template:S-line/TWM right/Green, and then places what it finds in the left and right boxes of the template (towards Airport/South Hylton etc). Before this happens though, the switching template: Template:TWM stations is applied to change any abnormal station names. So to fix the problem with Airport, all that was needed was a new entry in Template:TWM stations, so that when the script sees "Airport", instead of creating the default link of Airport Metro station, it switches it for the customised version - Airport Metro station (Tyne and Wear). Have a look - there are a few stations that use this for similar reasons, such as Four Lane Ends, but also the final destinations " St James via the Coast" and " South Shields via the Coast" that are used to avoid confusion at Monument Metro station. Hope that makes sense! Johnwalton 18:06, 21 February 2009 (UTC)

Hello. I've removed your request from the reference desk, since it isn't a request for help finding a reference, which is what the desk is for. I would suggest asking your father to find someone in France that can help him out. -- Tango ( talk) 18:29, 29 November 2011 (UTC)
