Hey, how do I go about creating a map for National Register of Historic Places listings in Downtown Davenport, Iowa? I'm planning on using File:National Register of Historic Places listings in Downtown Davenport, Iowa.png CTJF83 19:05, 19 December 2011 (UTC)

Thanks for the input at WT:NRHP. Just one question — do you avoid photographing empty lots for destroyed properties? I note that you have a clear address for the Potter House, which was destroyed before 1991. I generally do that myself, and I've had to do it a lot in some places — my SHPO doesn't delist very often, and some lists (e.g. Allen County) have tons of parking lot photos. Maybe that's why we have the third-highest number of listings? Nyttend ( talk) 03:02, 29 December 2011 (UTC)

Hi. When you recently edited Gainesville, Florida, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Epworth Hall ( check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Hello Ebyabe
I now live in Saint Augustine, Florida, and plan to work with cultural organizations and institutions in the area. Since you are a fantastic article creator in all things related to Florida, I want reach out to you. :-)
In particular, I want to talk about coordinating the local Florida events related to Commons:Wiki Loves Monuments 2012 that will happen in September 2012. Since, the United States 2012 event plans to focus on photographing sites found on the U.S. NRHP, I would like to talk with you since you have created a large number of the current images, articles, and lists in Florida. While living in Kentucky, my husband and I took and uploaded images of places on the NRHP so I have a general idea of the process. I'm most interested in finding the gaps in coverage of historical sites in FL, and figuring out the best way to get these covered. We have a good amount of lead time so I think that this is doable.
Additionally, I plan to work with the Saint Augustine 450 Commemoration (a four year initiative to celebrate the founding of Saint Augustine and settlement of FL through educational and legacy projects) to see how that we can add value to their current events, and possibly plan some joint initiatives.
Would love to hear your thoughts? FloNight ♥♥♥♥ 21:32, 16 February 2012 (UTC)
While responding to a note from Smallbones, I saw the "Fish cabins etc" section and remembered the idea of having you go SCUBA diving, so I decided to look it over again for fun — and then I saw that you'd responded there back in October to a comment I made, and I'd never before seen it. I've been able to learn locations for most sites here in Indiana; archaeological surveys were published (not just in the archaeological community, but published in general) for many counties, and as a student at Indiana University, I have access to many of these through the library system. The Sullivan County site where I was going to use flashers (I didn't end up using them; it was along an isolated dirt road, and the only mammal I saw was a farmer's dog a few hundred feet away) is Daugherty-Monroe. No widely-published archaeological survey has been produced for Sullivan County, but the site was published in the Proceedings of the Indiana Academy of Science in 1971. Hi, I just started using Wikipedia for an English project and needed to find some other users to help me make sure I'm headed in the right direction. If you have time, would you mind reading over my article and giving me some feedback? My article is on the Charleston Tea Plantation. Thank you. Ballerina311 ( talk) 16:21, 29 March 2012 (UTC)

Hi, thanks for your message about the Olympia School. I took those pictures on the way back from Jonathan Dickinson. I did the Bubble Houses (there are two) in the morning on the way down. I just posted the article. clariosophic ( talk) 19:31, 3 April 2012 (UTC)
I'm having trouble accessing the list of articles you started. The link on your userpage doesn't seem to be working. I thought I had seen a page previously with listing in various categories? I had wondered why they weren't wikilinked...
As far as photos... I haven't searched extensively, but it would be good to add some shots to the articles on:
Assuming I can find adequate sourcing I am planning to add articles on Broccato's, Hot Rod's Barbeque and maybe Life Force Academy.
What about dead historical figures?
Take care. Candleabracadabra ( talk) 22:32, 9 April 2012 (UTC)

Hi, I saw the below on the Meadow Broom hall page http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Meadow_Brook_Hall I went to it to see what was related and it's a dead page. I went to take it out and don't know how. Do you? Thanks

I'm working on an article for the defunct Gale College in Galesville, Wisconsin. I used google to search and I keep running across in websites refering to the Gale College Historic District but I see no listing in National Register of Historic Places listings in Trempealeau County, Wisconsin. I see it on the nrhp and I generated an infobox from the Elkman tool. Would you look into it please? Royal broil 01:50, 1 May 2012 (UTC)

Could you explain to me what those arrows mean on the category thingie? Also, what direction to they go in? Like, what should be first in the lineup and what should be last? And how does one rearrange the categories, or does it matter? I can't figure it out. (Most of the way I do it now it out of frustration from not being able to find what I am looking through by using the categories.) Best wishes, MathewTownsend ( talk) 00:37, 7 June 2012 (UTC)
p.s. You have done an awesome job! (Also, there is a historical marker for the Babe Zaharius Golf course in Tampa, but I can't find any mention of it. Or pics. And I'm sure there used to be some. MathewTownsend ( talk) 00:37, 7 June 2012 (UTC)
