BTW, I like the way you added thumbnail images to the NRHP list pages. I tried out the same idea on the List of crossings of the Halifax River, and I think it turned out well. It gave some life to an otherwise boring list page. (gamweb nli) 199.72.35.45 ( talk) 23:32, 11 May 2009 (UTC)
I like your photos of this site! I had left the reqphoto tag on it so that when they are finally finished with rennovations, someone would get a good pic of it at that point. I don't care enough about it to add it back, but just wanted to share my thought process in leaving it there. Lvklock ( talk) 00:44, 15 May 2009 (UTC)

Hey, I was looking for the article for Reid-Woods House, Sarasota, Florida, was puzzled by getting a red-link for it from Reid House disambig page. Eventually found it listed in National Register of Historic Places listings in Manatee County, Florida, as pipelinked to Whitfield Estates Subdivision MPS.
About this one, is it an NRIS error to list it in Manatee County? Or does Sarasota city extend out of Sarasota County (which has a different Reid house)? If it's an error, i'd like to add it to wp:NRIS info issues.
Also, I wikilinked other entries in the MPS page, so now there are red-links to address. :) Hope u don't mind! Cheers, doncram ( talk) 23:28, 28 May 2009 (UTC)
After going through some history books in the local public library, I think I have some more of the "Historic Districts" figured out, in List of Registered Historic Buildings in Daytona Beach, Florida
I found some other neat things in Daytona's history. Most of the older histories I found are kind of "plain vanilla" shall we say - there are little hints of things, without spelling them out. A later history I found (written about 10 years ago) spells out a lot of juicy details.
The most notorious Mayor was Edward Armstrong (1927-1937). The older books call him the greatest mayor the city had; the newer book calls him the most corrupt mayor the city had (LOL). Governor David Sholtz tried to remove him from office in 1936. I am trying to put together a [ List of Mayors of Daytona Beach], but I have not found any written list anywhere yet. I might have to go to City Hall to see what records they have to fill in the gaps.
The KKK penetrated the city in the early 20th century, they had some political power about 1910-1930. Gamweb ( talk) 22:29, 29 May 2009 (UTC)
Hey, we've passed 1,000 NRHP disambiguation pages, and I have been occasionally working away at an old list of disambig pages needed which i think you set up, now linked at wp:NRHPdab. I'm glad to see you've been developing List of RHPs in OK. To let you know, I am happy to do the work of setting up disambiguation pages if, in the process of table-izing, you notice that something is needed. Like, for Richardson Building in National Register of Historic Places listings in Canadian County, Oklahoma, you might have noticed that the new table would have first linked to an unrelated place, at Richardson Building, and then you set up or left the entry as a red-link to "Richardson Building (Union City)". In the future, if you'd be willing to start a dab page and tag it with {{ NRHP dab needing cleanup}}, or if you would just notify me by a note at wp:NRHPdab, I'd be happy to address it further, as I have been doing with/for Sanfranman59. I just think it is easy at the point of laying in new list-tables, to check the blue-links they come in with and to identify that a dab page is needed. Otherwise, it is hard to detect those. Thanks! doncram ( talk) 05:28, 28 May 2009 (UTC)
You mentioned going onto NC, SC, or TN next. Actually Sanfranman59 has been working a long time on NC, so it probably will be done soon, and SC is nearly done mostly by me (with Kudzuvine developing them further, at least as an eager consumer of new list-tables). TN and 3 other big states to be done, including AR which i have made a serious dent in. Less than 8,000 NRHPs remaining. If u did 10 counties/day, say that's 200, that's just 40 days to finish all. The non-state ones are painful but i finished Puerto Rico, the biggest chunk. And SF is going at his own speed, and Nyttend might do some more, and I am willing to put in more effort. So if u would be into it, we could meet a 4th of July goal after all, if you would be game. I'd like that. doncram ( talk) 01:58, 29 May 2009 (UTC)

It's nice what you do about NRHP lists, but you went way too far by creating lists with AWB. There is absolutely no reason to have National Register of Historic Places listings in Warren County, Indiana when it only has three members. There is National Register of Historic Places listings in Indiana for a purpose. Only the counties with the very most NRHPs should be split out. There are 3,077 counties in the United States, and there should not be a list for every single one of them! Statewide lists are perfectly fine. Creating more specific lists just dilutes the quality. I could even take some of them to WP:FLC, but these short ones immediately fail. I see above that National Register of Historic Places listings in Crawford County, Indiana was tagged for speedy deletion. While speedy isn't the best way to take care of it, for goodness's sake, there's only one thing on it! The title's even wrong, it should be National Register of Historic Places ''listing'' in Crawford County, Indiana. It's great that you are also putting them into tables, but there should not be so many short lists. Please, stop creating these stub lists. If you don't, I will have to merge and redirect them. Thanks, Reywas92 Talk 16:36, 7 June 2009 (UTC)

Hi Eb ... My latest project is to confirm duplicate listings in our state/county/city/town tables and to find and document additional duplicates. Back at the end of May, you added the following notes to National Register of Historic Places listings in Oklahoma:
The Elkman county table generator only has the US Highway 77 Bridge listing in McClain County and that listing doesn't appear in the National Register of Historic Places listings in Cleveland County, Oklahoma table. Similarly, the Elkman tool places Initial Point in Garvin County, but not in Murray County (although it appears in both county lists). I also checked the NRIS database and they have both sites in only one county. Can you shed light on any of this? Thanks. -- sanfranman59 ( talk) 05:23, 20 July 2009 (UTC)
