hello i notice someone has been trying to create a page Called A-Channel News page that will be page with all A-Channel News from Ontario And Bc in One Atricle can someone
consider helping me work on it
Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you recently tried to give a page a different title by copying its content and pasting it into another page with a different name. This is known as a "
cut and paste move", and it is considered undesirable because it splits the
page history which is needed for attribution and various other purposes. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.
In most cases, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page. This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other articles that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Cut and paste move repair holding pen. Thank you. Thank you for uploading Image:A logo black.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link.
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. Asenine 18:22, 11 August 2008 (UTC)

Could you please clarify why you want to replace the existing A logo SVG with a JPG? Firstly, Wikipedia actually prefers images to be in SVG format whenever possible, and secondly, the JPG is actually of lesser quality, as it's an oversized image with too much whitespace around it and it artifacts on it (the faint grey line under the A) that aren't actually part of the logo, but are remnants of the website design. Is there a reason we need to use that image instead of the one we already have? Bearcat ( talk) 18:23, 13 August 2008 (UTC)
the logo i am uploading looks more like the logo and the picture i'm upladoing is that the way it was designed
but can you keep the logo i'm uploadning and change the foramt to a SVG just the orgianl logo looked more flat

Again: A's actual logo is the plain A-with-triangles. Everything behind it in the image you're uploading is a design artifact that is not part of the logo itself. Bearcat ( talk) 03:00, 12 September 2008 (UTC)
it still is a logo they use that in there promos and stuff
( Dongwong ( talk) 03:05, 12 September 2008 (UTC))
well it looks more nicer and it shows the network new bold direction that the plain logo and will enhance the articles to make it stand out more. and it not website background
could we give it a try
( Dongwong ( talk) 03:17, 12 September 2008 (UTC))
it not messy why do you think CTV would post it then it is a computer file that they sue in press releases
and you can make it smaller like what i did
no but this one is better i know some people on here you agree with me
( Dongwong ( talk) 03:44, 12 September 2008 (UTC))
look at A News it looks awesome and tha tthere offical logo
may i show you what i mean if i make it smaller
the one you consdier messy and sure iover sized but i can make it smaller
and it not blurry download it your self
i did not erase it dont say something that i didn't
from "A" Facebook Group and there website
( Dongwong ( talk) 04:55, 12 September 2008 (UTC))
that log that had the pattern was way better and gave more depth to the article as you know "A" is a more a Dynamic TV System now and that why CTV uploaded it because it was the updated version of the First projected log and the A News Logo is the Offical Logo it has colors behind it here is the link from CTV http://www.ctvmedia.ca/Atv/logos/page.asp?subcat=Logo
( Dongwong ( talk) 05:13, 12 September 2008 (UTC))
)
i jsut wanted to see if the bigger image of the one that did not have the effects as it had more black coloring and the "A" was a bit bigger than the orginal one that on here currently on here.
and no offence Emarsee but this conversation is between me and bearcat
( Dongwong ( talk) 05:16, 12 September 2008 (UTC))
can you shrink it . considering on there website they consider it official Logo
( Dongwong ( talk) 05:25, 12 September 2008 (UTC))
i've tried changin the format for the one that has teh effects to a SVG Format which Wiki uses correct i was hoping you could maybe covert it so it does not degrade. All i want to do is to show people that "A" is more dynamic and more mature. instead of seeing a plain old White Background Logo
i just would like to use CTV Updated Version of the Logo could we post it somwhere eles on the Article showing there Second Logo but keep the Main PLain one up where it is. but post the one with the effects somewhere on the article and have some wrting under it saying this logo is the alternative to the main logo above
let me know
( Dongwong ( talk) 05:33, 12 September 2008 (UTC))
( Dongwong ( talk) 05:33, 12 September 2008 (UTC))
well yeah i have to agree ti jstu a different background tho it part of the "A" Arternate Background they use it on air
but can we still use it on the article. the new background with the offical "A" Logo part of there alternative Logo anyways why would it say on that website "A" Logo
i'm saying we could stick is somewhere on the article and it wont be the main image anyways

Hello, this is a message from
an automated bot. A tag has been placed on
Image:A-Channel News banner.jpg, by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be
speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because
Image:A-Channel News banner.jpg is an unfree image with no
fair use rationale uploaded after
May 4,
2006 which has been tagged as not having a rationale for more than 7 days (
CSD I6).
To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting
Image:A-Channel News banner.jpg, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at
WP:WMD. Feel free to contact the
bot operator if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself.

A tag has been placed on Image:A News Logo ID.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section I5 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an image which is not under a free license or in the public domain and it has not been used in any article for more than seven days.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{
hangon}}
to the top of
the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on [[ Talk:Image:A News Logo ID.jpg|the talk page]] explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.

what is wrong with the News Presentations
I've said this before, and I'll say it again. Would you please familiarize yourself with actual Wikipedia policy, and then work with other editors to build consensus for your desired edits rather than simply attempting to impose them? A significant number of your edits continue to be pointless, unnecessary or even inappropriate, and constantly having to clean up after you is getting tiresome. The logo that you put up is not the logo on the A Morning London web page that you stated that it came from. I explained that on the talk page. You have since changed the location that it came from to another site (the correct one) which is a promotion page for A Morning. The correct logo to use may be under dispute but that is no reason to call me an ass wipe in an edit summary. I am going to initiate a discussion about the correct logo to use on the talk page, you are welcome to discuss it civilly and without calling people names.-- kelapstick ( talk) 22:57, 6 February 2009 (UTC)
Don't call people "ass wipe" in edit summaries, as you can be edit blocked for violating WP:CIVIL. (And don't even try telling me to "shut the fuck up" like you did the last time I posted to your talk page, either, because that would violate WP:CIVIL too.) If you'd like to move the page to another title, you can propose a move for discussion through the proper processes for doing so. You cannot arbitrarily dictate a title that is not in keeping with Wikipedia's naming conventions. Bearcat ( talk) 01:13, 30 June 2009 (UTC)
Wikipedia has an absolute rule against adding YouTube or Facebook links to articles. It's not important or necessary that a YouTube link be present in the article at all — they are never acceptable external links on here. It's just spam, pure and simple, and fails the criterion — which has been pointed out to you over and over and over and over again — that article sources need to be independent of the topic.
I know you seem to believe that A's marketing department should have total control over its related Wikipedia articles, but that's not Wikipedia's purpose or practice. Our job is to be a neutral and objective source, not A's own private press release database. Bearcat ( talk) 05:40, 5 August 2009 (UTC)

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current

Bearcat ( talk) 18:23, 13 August 2008 (UTC)

may i show you what i mean if i make it smaller

that log that had the pattern was way better and gave more depth to the article as you know "A" is a more a Dynamic TV System now and that why CTV uploaded it because it was the updated version of the First projected log and the A News Logo is the Offical Logo it has colors behind it here is the link from CTV http://www.ctvmedia.ca/Atv/logos/page.asp?subcat=Logo

i jsut wanted to see if the bigger image of the one that did not have the effects as it had more black coloring and the "A" was a bit bigger than the orginal one that on here currently on here.

i've tried changin the format for the one that has teh effects to a SVG Format which Wiki uses correct i was hoping you could maybe covert it so it does not degrade. All i want to do is to show people that "A" is more dynamic and more mature. instead of seeing a plain old White Background Logo
i just would like to use CTV Updated Version of the Logo could we post it somwhere eles on the Article showing there Second Logo but keep the Main PLain one up where it is. but post the one with the effects somewhere on the article and have some wrting under it saying this logo is the alternative to the main logo above

well yeah i have to agree ti jstu a different background tho it part of the "A" Arternate Background they use it on air
but can we still use it on the article. the new background with the offical "A" Logo part of there alternative Logo anyways why would it say on that website "A" Logo
i'm saying we could stick is somewhere on the article and it wont be the main image anyways

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{
hangon}}
to the top of
the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on [[ Talk:Image:A News Logo ID.jpg|the talk page]] explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.

(And don't even try telling me to "shut the fuck up" like you did the last time I posted to your talk page, either, because that would violate WP:CIVIL too.) Thanks for uploading Image:Anewslogo.gif. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. If you'd like to move the page to another title, you can propose a move for discussion through the proper processes for doing so.

Arbitration Committee election. The
Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia
arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose
site bans,
topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The
arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to
review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on
the voting page. For the Election committee,
