If you believe the information was correct, please cite a reliable source or discuss your change on the article's talk page. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Walter Görlitz ( talk) 23:55, 19 March 2018 (UTC) reply

Do please keep editing!

Davidbro, please don't be discouraged just because some of your first edits are reverted. It's a normal part of the learning curve. Back when there were fewer automated editing tools, it used to take longer (I think my first registered edits were reverted after about three years; it's obvious to me now why). Now it's near-instant, which is good for fighting vandals (who want to replace entire articles with the text "blahblahblah" or some such patent sillness), but bad for new editors. You can get advice on your edits at the WP:Teahouse; there are also all sorts of interactive tutorials and whatnot to help you pick up the technical skills fast. I can't recommend any of them from my own experience, but the Teahose can. It looks to me as if the only real problem with your edits is that you don't cite sources for your information. Each fact should cite the books/articles/etc that the information came from (or be tagged with citation needed). For details as to how to cite, you can see Wikipedia:Citing sources, and if you aren't sure, run your draft past the Teahouse. You should have all the skills you need to be getting on with in no time. HLHJ ( talk) 04:37, 15 October 2018 (UTC) reply
