Hi Ctrl_build, you must be in SEAS... Mat334 05:29, 23 Oct 2004 (UTC)
I quote my response and one of yours in the discussion on deleting the Core Curriculum article:
"Keep. I'll help after Christmas (also been busy with finals). As for the proposal to merge all Columbia-related articles, perhaps it is just because there are many editors knowledgeable about Columbia? Mat334 12:08, 23 Dec 2004 (UTC)"
"Know other than you, of two. Wikipeida is an expansionary encycolpedia. You cannot keep things contained in articles. Do you go to Columbia? -- Ctrl_buildtalk 17:52, 23 Dec 2004 (UTC)"
Having just read your response, I don't think I was very clear. I do go to Columbia. I'm against merging all Columbia-related articles. I meant to try to explain the existence of so many Columbia-related articles. I thought the reason might be that there are many Wikipedians affiliated to Columbia. Mat334 22:22, 28 Dec 2004 (UTC)
Gidday. I see you've created and populated Category:People associated with Columbia University. That's great. When you create a new category like this, you might like to assign the category page itself to higher-level categories. For this one, I've made it a child of Category:Columbia University and Category:People notable within notable organizations, following the model of Category:Stanford University people.- gadfium 00:05, 21 Nov 2004 (UTC)
With reference to Wikipedia:Categories for deletion and the Columbia/Stanford categories (please read my reply there), I am curious what you think ought to be done with the lists in question. / up+land 23:36, 25 Nov 2004 (UTC)
See its talk page for a discussion there, and please respond there. Thanks! — msh210 14:15, 15 Dec 2004 (UTC)
There is a little storm brewing at Hubbert peak concerning, well, many things. But currently concerning how to organize information concerning future development of energy schemes (phrased as "Oil Alternatives" or "Future energy development" depending on whom you ask). As you might guess, Hubbert Peak is an article that might be expected to draw a lot of public interest and heat; Energy development is not. We could use your input regarding how to proceed. Visit Talk:Hubbert Peak to contribute. Thanks for your consideration. Tom - Talk 21:07, Dec 15, 2004 (UTC)
I loved your graph. Too bad you removed it. Did you simply mean you weren't ready to go public with it? Tom - Talk 22:46, Dec 16, 2004 (UTC)
Part research project, part copy vio. Please do not direct anyone to the image. It counts as multiple copyright violations. Plus, its part of a paper I am writing, I was not planning to put in so much info. Really, I did not mean to realease it into the public domain. Sorry. --[[User:Ctrl build| Ctrl_build talk ]] 03:14, 17 Dec 2004 (UTC)
I redirected them because they've been sitting around not being articles for a month (longer in the case of the School of General Studies). If you're going to make an article, make it, but don't create placeholders. -- Cyrius| ✎ 07:14, 19 Dec 2004 (UTC)
Columbia University School of Social Work got impressively large really fast. I didn't expect anyone to make them that big when undoing the redirects. -- Cyrius| ✎ 02:10, 20 Dec 2004 (UTC)
I know it must seem like I'm stalking you, but I swear I'm just going down the list at Category:Substubs. -- Cyrius| ✎ 06:44, 21 Dec 2004 (UTC)

Hello, I've started WikiProject New York City, and from your edits it seems you might be interested. See its talk page for the beginning of a discussion on the standardization of neighborhood names, and bringing New York City up to featured status.-- Pharos 13:35, 29 Dec 2004 (UTC)
