Thanks for your edits. A reminder that signatures (using four tildes) should not be placed in articles, as in this edit of Raritan Bay. Keep up the great work and let me know if I can help with anything. Alansohn ( talk) 20:06, 10 March 2008 (UTC)
DO NOT PUT SIGNATURES IN ARTICLES as you did at this edit of County Route 4 (Monmouth County, New Jersey). Please let me know here or on my talk page if you have any confusion as to why you should not be placing signatures in articles, as explained above. Alansohn ( talk) 19:15, 12 March 2008 (UTC)
Again, this edit of County Route 2 (Monmouth County, New Jersey) had a signature inserted. Signatures do not belong in articles. Do not type them manually and do not add them using four tildes ("~~~~"). Any further edits with signatures may be reverted. Please let me know here on your talk page or on my talk page or anywhere else, that you understand Wikipedia policy in this regard. Talk page entries are signed; Articles are not. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.

Hey Cte411
I'm sending you this because you've made quite a few edits to the template namespace in the past couple of months. If I've got this wrong, or if I haven't but you're not interested in my request, don't worry; this is the only notice I'm sending out on the subject :).
So, as you know (or should know - we sent out a centralnotice and several watchlist notices) we're planning to deploy the VisualEditor on Monday, 1 July, as the default editor. For those of us who prefer markup editing, fear not; we'll still be able to use the markup editor, which isn't going anywhere.
What's important here, though, is that the VisualEditor features an interactive template inspector; you click an icon on a template and it shows you the parameters, the contents of those fields, and human-readable parameter names, along with descriptions of what each parameter does. Personally, I find this pretty awesome, and from Monday it's going to be heavily used, since, as said, the VisualEditor will become the default.
The thing that generates the human-readable names and descriptions is a small JSON data structure, loaded through an extension called TemplateData. I'm reaching out to you in the hopes that you'd be willing and able to put some time into adding TemplateData to high-profile templates. It's pretty easy to understand (heck, if I can write it, anyone can) and you can find a guide here, along with a list of prominent templates, although I suspect we can all hazard a guess as to high-profile templates that would benefit from this. Hopefully you're willing to give it a try; the more TemplateData sections get added, the better the interface can be. If you run into any problems, drop a note on the Feedback page.

If you are getting your smaller articles on sheriffs deleted you can either make a list like you did at List of Monmouth County Freeholder directors and have mini biographies there, or you can create an article on the Monmouth County, New Jersey Sheriffs Department and list the sheriffs there with mini biographies. There are over 100 articles in English Wikipedia on county sheriff departments. See Category:Sheriffs' departments of the United States. You can also make your county clerk category as "position" in Wikidata, or again you can make a list of the county clerks in the article on Monmouth County. See for example Director of the Monmouth County, New Jersey Board of Chosen Freeholders that was just created based on your research. You can also migrated your deleted biographies to Familypedia which uses the same wiki formatting, just ask that they be temporarily userfied. You can also add your people into Wikidata. If you have not edited Wikidata yet, give it a try. See again Director of the Monmouth County, New Jersey Board of Chosen Freeholders for how people holding a particular political position can be clustered together. -- RAN ( talk) 19:56, 27 January 2018 (UTC)

I’ve noticed you’ve been adding information about memorial highway designations to articles about roads in New Jersey. We do not need a separate subsection in the history for this information, the subsection header is unnecessary. Dough 4872 18:20, 25 September 2020 (UTC)
