The impulse to undo an edit you disagree with is understandable, but I wanted to make sure you're aware that the edit warring policy disallows repeated reversions even if they are justifiable.

All editors are expected to discuss content disputes on article talk pages to try to reach consensus. If you are unable to agree at Talk:Zach Edey, please use one of the dispute resolution options to seek input from others. Hi Bagumba, yes I still disagree given there are many foreign NBA players from other countries whose wikipedia displays as “Center.” As far as I know in the NBA they are called Center, so I would assume that’s what they should be referred to as. Please do not use styles that are nonstandard, unusual, inappropriate or difficult to understand in articles, as you did in LeBron James. There is a Manual of Style, and edits should not deliberately go against it without special reason. You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Dwight Powell. This means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be although other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Points to note:

1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. These players are Canadian and that’s the spelling. Spelling in articles is dictated by the subject’s country of origin. It seems you disagree with that, but you can’t just go around changing stuff you don’t like. Per WP:ENGVAR we are supposed to use the spelling of the country the person is from. This goes for everyone. I suspect since the NBA is so dominated by Americans, users (such as yourself) have assumed American spelling. But any player from a commonwealth country (UK, Australia, New Zealand, etc.) should have the -re spelling. -- Earl Andrew - talk 19:20, 9 July 2024 (UTC) reply

Would it not be better to use a language that everyone uses globally, then to be subjected to one language for one region (in this case Canadian), I think the term “centre” fits well with exclusively Canadian people playing in Canada. Where as if a player were to play in a different region, there should be a more global word that everyone is used to. American English is not the "global" language! That reeks of American exceptionalism/imperialism/chauvinism, and is highly offensive. There are two main varieties of English; American and British, and the world is split between those varieties.
