Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Kahal B'raira, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Blood drive ( check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

The Perl article will be moved from Perl to Perl (programming language) to fall into the same systematic naming scheme like Python, Ruby and others.
The old Perl article dates back to a time when no one on WP possibly knew there IS a disambiguation. LinguistManiac ( talk) 20:16, 18 March 2013 (UTC)

I posted the following on the User talk page of User:RHaworth because you both seem to be involved in the speedy deletion of a page I've worked on in the past, and I'm not sure who to address these remarks to:
"Can you explain why you speedy-deleted this 2-yr old page? It was quite useful for developers looking to understand the origins of this useful package. Your explanation didn't make much sense, so we out here in radio-land would sure appreciate knowing what you were thinking when you did this. If you can't "undelete" it, could you at least point us to the text of the most recent version so we'd have a decent chance of recreating it? I was just involved in trying to get the developers to upload their logo (which I can't do because I'm not the owner of the logo). There's quite a lot of work there that you flushed down the toilet and, if nothing else, I'd like to get it back.
"PS: Is it you (RHaworth) who deleted this page, or someone else (a "Captain Conundrum")? The message on my talk page was signed by "Captain Conundrum", but the deletion info on the Exsite Webware page was signed by you (RHaworth). I'm also puzzled by the "copyrighted text or images obtained from other web sites" label. I wrote some of the original contributions, and none of it was copied. Now that you've deleted the page, I can't verify or dispute what you're saying since others may have added to the article in the 2 years that it has been in place. Or perhaps Exsite Webware lifted the WP article for their own page. Please restore the article ASAP. It doesn't deserve Speedy Deletion especially since it was in place for several years, and it's original content. Then we (editors) can figure out what was going on. The last I saw of it, it was a good article."
Please reply on my Talk page if you like. Yours truly Santamoly ( talk) 06:02, 25 March 2013 (UTC)
I sent the following to RHaworth and I'm copying it to you since you're working with RHaworth on this matter:
RHaworth- Thanks for sending me the text of the deleted article (Exsite Webware) . But the edit history isn't included. The article was perhaps two years old and had an edit history that is needed to examine your claims re notability &/or copyright.
Can you please send me the related edit history so that I can contact the various contributors?
Many thanks, (Santamoly)
PS: since I'm not sure who was involved in tagging/deleting the article, I'll cc this to each of you via your respective Talk pages

Hi, i wrote you in reply of your email about my contribution at ManyDesigns Portofino page. Yes, I'm one of the developer of the product, that is open source, LGPL, and downloadable at SourceForge (so no commercial). This time my only contribution was to update product version, I didn't think that it is a potential problem.
I read all the link that you point out to me, and i had a similar discussion in the Italian section of wikipedia in which i discussed how i followed all wikipedia directives. You can find it here http://it.wikipedia.org/wiki/Discussioni_utente:AlessioMela#ManyDesigns_Portofino The first Portofino page was done by someone who made a cut and paste from our web site, so we decided to wrote a new page more technical and objective following wikipedia directives.
Please can you tell me what I have done not properly, or how to overcome problems on the page?
Thank you very much. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Granatella ( talk • contribs) 10:33, 26 March 2013 (UTC)
Hi Captain Conudrum, thanks for your answer. Portofino is an open source product downloaded 31.000 (moreover) from 139 countries, see stats on sourceforge. We are linked in groovy websites ( http://groovy.codehaus.org/Related+Projects), postgresql ( http://www.postgresql.org/download/products/1/), stripes ( http://www.stripesframework.org/display/stripes/Stripes+Around+The+Web). It was selected in 2009 among the best european open source projects at open innovation awards in France. We made seminars at Java User Groups around Italy, and Free university of Bozen and at University of Genoa. We are not big, but I hope we are notable in the open source scenario. If you like, you can download our product, and give us your opinion.

Hello, I recived the message about the Jaws Project page. The original page had been deleted over two years ago, in 2010, but since then, much has changed.
The new page has been deleted so fast that I haven't had the time to reply and then there was no discussion.
Please, consider that the new page is not a copy of the 2010 deleted page, because it's an original work written by me.
I can't read the 2010 page, can you? If you can, please, could you copy and paste the old page in my talk page, so that I can give it a read?

Hi, I saw that you have "speed deleted" our page "ManyDesigns Portofino", and I would try to understand the causes and to solve the problems, instead to contest the speed deletion. As I said in my previous comment, the first version of this page was made by an unknown user, who cut and paste some information from our website. And it was deleted. So we decided to write a page to describe the product in an objective way. That's why we start to write the page on our behalf.
About notability, i can ask to Open World Forum the list of candidates in 2009 (among others "Portofino") if you want, and i can't send you the response (contact me at granatella@gmail.com). Unfortunately the page of that event no longer exist. As i said before we are linked in the website of postgresql (DB), groovy (scripting language) and stripes (web framework), those are all in english. We was linked by Sun (now Oracle), among products certified for Java Powered for the Enterprise Directory, http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javaee/directory-141301.html
Other reference, these are in italian, unfortunately, but obviously we are located in Europe:

Hey, thanks for staying on top of the network monitoring comparisons. I work at AdRem and am making adjustments to the NetCrunch info. The documentation for NC7 isn't complete, but IP SLA reports are possible via configuration, which i was told directly from the programmers. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 77.252.166.202 ( talk) 08:24, 15 April 2013 (UTC)
10-4, it will take some time for the technical writers to prepare the NC7 documentation, but it is currently being worked on. We would also like to add a column regarding support for ESX/ESXi monitoring to the comparison page. This will affect all of the various monitoring options on the list, so i'm not sure how to proceed. Thanks. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 77.252.166.202 ( talk) 08:33, 16 April 2013 (UTC)
Understood, the goal here is just to update the information contained on Wiki. Aside from the ESX support, there's nothing left from our side to update. Thanks for you help, and for the quick response. Our release notes here: http://www.adremsoft.com/netcrunch/page/release-notes show ESX support, and i'm working on having them add IP SLA somewhere in the documentation. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 77.252.166.202 ( talk) 08:56, 16 April 2013 (UTC)
Shalom!
Let me explain u: first I think the article name should even changed to "Cabinet of North Korea". we talk about the executive branch of the north Korean political system, and it is the north Korean cabinet (sometimes called government). As for the he section about the songun, it can be written in the article Politics of North Korea, which describes the north Korean political system. as for this article, Government of North Korea, more should be written about the role of the north Korean government (cabinet) in the political system. for example its responsible mainly for implementing economic policy which is seted by the Workers' Party.
I also would to ask if its possible to change the article name to "Cabinet of North Korea". Honestly, I think the article was called in the past Cabinet of North Korea and I changed it to the current name but it was mistake, or at least inaccurate. The north Korean constitution uses the term Cabinet. and as specified: "Cabinet is the administrative and executive body of the highest organ of State power and a general state management organ." Hi, I see you've done some welcome editing of my article "David K. Lam" and was hoping you'd take a look at my recent attempt to add a new reference to the end of the reference list. It's coming up in a different font size and is not being added as a numbered item in the list of references. There is a reference given in the article but it does not open. Where you able to open it? If so all is well. Cheers. Ochiwar ( talk) 13:34, 9 June 2013 (UTC)

Captain Conundrum,
Thank you for reading and contributing to the RNDeer article. I noticed that you added the notability tag to the article. This company is fairly new and therefore does not have more than a few secondary sources. Do you have any advice on what I could do to better meet Wikipedia's notability guidelines? I have no intention of eluding any Wikipedia guidelines, but I don't have extensive experience writing for Wikipedia. Thanks again, any advice is appreciated. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Tricky9981 ( talk • contribs) 15:05, 11 June 2013 (UTC)

Your recent editing history at Comparison of issue-tracking systems shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.
To avoid being blocked, instead of reverting please consider using the article's talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. See BRD for how this is done. You can post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection. If you removed the tag from Inside the Beltway (region) because I'm the one who "created" it, all I did was split it off from Inside the Beltway. None of it's content is mine, I have no idea if it's a coppyvo. Emmette Hernandez Coleman ( talk) 14:24, 13 June 2013 (UTC)

The north Korean constitution uses the term Cabinet. and as specified: "Cabinet is the administrative and executive body of the highest organ of State power and a general state management organ." Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to Marko Vukčević (footballer) may have broken the syntax by modifying 2 "{}"s. If you have, don't worry, just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

Dear Captain Conundrum, I appreciate your help on improving CMS articles I created. But CMS is a civil administration agency instead of an armed forces branch. The name should be East China Sea Fleet to distinguish itself from East Sea Fleet of PLA Navy. SummerRat ( talk) 03:57, 3 June 2013 (UTC)
Hi.. Why u moved Talk:MainPage/Archives to The talk page of a movie??--Vigyani talk ਯੋਗਦਾਨ 10:43, 3 June 2013 (UTC)
Hello Captain Conundrum. Can you please review my article. I want to make sure is well written and is not considered as spam or advertising. I greatly appreciate your feedback. I am having trouble with my reference links. ;( Thank You!
Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that you've added some links pointing to disambiguation pages. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Hi,
Trust me he is well known article writer on cinematography, teacher and known cinematographer and it should be not deleted. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Christine markee ( talk • contribs) 12:22, 5 June 2013 (UTC)
That was a fine array of speedy reasons for Lady G just now - G4, G5, A7 and, I think, G3 hoax as well, because I don't find any trace of them except in Facebook, Twitter and the like, and the claim that she was at Prince William's wedding seems to be false. hey, thanks for your help. i have all the sources, i'm just not sure how to cite them. how do you show that multiple different parts of the article are from a unitary source? when i tried to cite them, it came out as numbers 1-17, when i wanted them to all have the number 1 in superscript to its right. Thank you for your fresh pair of NPOV eyes, particularly for edits that have helped me (as principle writer) stop seeing so cross-eyed. — Sandover ( talk) 09:54, 7 June 2013 (UTC)
Hi. Just thought you I would let you know that the reason I tagged this as a possible hoax is that I can't seem to find any mention of him anywhere. A google search finds a runner of the same name. Soccerway don't list him either. Gbawden ( talk) 12:08, 7 June 2013 (UTC)
Hi, I'm Gbawden. I wanted to let you know that I saw the page you reviewed, Ahmad Zainul Arifin, and have un-reviewed it again. If you have any questions, please ask them on my talk page. Thank you. Gbawden ( talk) 12:43, 7 June 2013 (UTC)
Captain, I think you are incorrect, i wrote the page on flame retardant curtain fabrics and i wrote it based on the knowledge of my company who are flame retardant curtain fabric manufactures. As per an encyclopedia you need to give credit for knowledge and we wrote the page and we are also a font of knowledge on FR fabrics. So i believe the content should remain.
I also think i should be the main author of this page. How would i go about doing this

Hi Capt. Conundrum, you reverted my BLP prod on Jason Kenneth Chown. My reason for the prod was that the reference given does not open on my browser after several attempts. There is a reference given in the article but it does not open. Where you able to open it? If so all is well. Cheers. Ochiwar ( talk) 13:34, 9 June 2013 (UTC)
At a minimum, it would have been polite to discuss the matter with me before doing a mass speedy deletion template placement. (FYI: As it is a work in progress, I contest all those you have labelled.) Cheers, Pdfpdf ( talk) 13:44, 10 June 2013 (UTC)

Since I am new here, I would like to know if a reference to a german article will also work. I added track+, which only has a german article. Will that work or should I translate the article first? Simon Bauer 151 ( talk) 11:59, 13 June 2013 (UTC)
Ok. I will try my best. but I am not a native speaker. -- Simon Bauer 151 ( talk) 12:10, 13 June 2013 (UTC)
one more question: Do you/I need to import the german article first? or should I start from scratch? -- Simon Bauer 151 ( talk) 12:18, 13 June 2013 (UTC)
