A tag has been placed on Runescape Lords Conquest requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for web content. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{
hangon}}
to the top of
the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on
the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact
one of these admins to request that they
userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you.

The article was deleted because it gave no indication that the series is notable enough to have an article. That's not a matter of opinion: it has be demonstrated by showing "significant coverage in reliable sources that are independent of the subject." Just linking to copies of the show on Youtube isn't enough - see WP:Notability for more detail. Also, because you kept re-creating the page, it has been protected to prevent re-creation. If you think you can show that it is notable enough to have an article, make a draft copy in your user space at User:BertramIT/Runescape Lords Conquest, and then ask user Anonymous Dissident ( talk · contribs), the admin who protected it, if he is willing to unprotect so that you can put it in. Hi. Sorry for the delay responding.
I see you have asked at WP:RFPP; I have declined that request because, as explained, there is still no indication of notability. RFPP is generally the right place for unprotection requests, but where an article has recently been salted the first person to ask to unprotect the title is the one who salted it, in this case Anonymous Dissident ( talk · contribs): one admin doesn't normally undo another admin's action without consulting him. If you do find more references, go to him first. Regards, JohnCD ( talk) 15:21, 21 February 2010 (UTC)
I hope now that i have reviewed the following guidelines about notability that you would now freely consider my origional request and tell me if it would be good enough to be put up:

Sorry, no, you have still not established notability which, I repeat, needs "significant coverage in reliable sources that are independent of the subject." Facebook and Twitter are not reliable sources, because anyone can post there, and the Runescape Lords Conquest Facebook and Twitter groups are not independent. You have worked very hard, and the article is nicely presented, but I am afraid you have chosen a subject which is just not (yet) notable enough for Wikipedia. My advice would be to leave it for now - no harm keeping the draft in your user space - and see whether as the series goes on it attracts more interest and you can find some real, substantial, independent comment.
Another piece of advice - it's a mistake to post your requests in so many different places - that's called WP:Forum shopping, and it doesn't help, it only annoys people. For instance, there's no point posting at WP:REFUND, because you are not asking for an undeletion; and there is not really a lot of point asking me or other admins, though I can give you advice, because as I have explained admins do not normally undo something another admin has done without consulting him. WP:RFPP is the right place to ask for unprotection, which is what you want, but they will normally want to see that you have first consulted the admin who protected the page, Anonymous Dissident ( talk · contribs).
I am particularly sorry to be discouraging because you have made such a good looking article; unfortunately not a good subject. On the bright side, you are learning a lot about Wikipedia and about article building. Regards, JohnCD ( talk) 14:41, 23 February 2010 (UTC)
Hi Bertram,
I'm really, really sorry, but I had to tag the image you uploaded to commons:File:Runescape Lords Conquest Logo.png as a potential derivative work which is considered non-free and therefore not allowed on Commons. Please read the pages on derivative works which are cited there. If you believe that the file you uploaded isn't a non-free derivative work, please explain this on commons:File talk:Runescape Lords Conquest Logo.png and the tag will be removed. Please don't give up – the learning curve may be steep but your contributions are very welcome.
