You may also take a look at User:Joe Decker/IsThisNotable. I'm still working on refining it, but my hope is to provide a more step-by-step (if still not simple) approach to explaining what we need in terms of demonstrating notability. I hope that it will be helpful. In short, it is quite possible that he does meet our critieria, but we need the article in part to be based on newspaper and/or magazine coverage from reputable sources completely independent from the subject.

After the first usage of the subject's name, please use only their last name (unless that is culturally inappropriate), see WP:LASTNAME. Only bold the first instance of the name.
