Information icon Hello, I'm Apaugasma. Wikipedia is written by people who have a wide diversity of opinions, but we try hard to make sure articles have a neutral point of view. Your recent edit to Mu'awiya I seemed less than neutral and has been removed. If you think this was a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. ☿  Apaugasma ( talk  ) 12:32, 1 January 2023 (UTC) reply

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war. This means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be although other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Points to note:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. -- HistoryofIran ( talk) 11:59, 5 January 2023 (UTC) reply

The next time you attack someone or disrupt an article, I will report you. -- HistoryofIran ( talk) 17:19, 6 January 2023 (UTC) reply

Hey User:HistoryofIran this is a blame upon me that I attacked someone, I haven't attacked anyone. And please teach me what is the definition of 'disrupting an article', I think you also don't know about it. Asking reference (adequate source) is the rule of Wikipedia articles and i also did that. If u think u are right, justify how. Barkatay ( talk) 17:24, 6 January 2023 (UTC) reply
I find it strange that you keep asking for a reference whilst adding your own, unsourced words. I don't want to teach you anything. Read our guidelines (such as WP:LEDE), look at the status of the article, etc, it's not that hard. If you think I am being disruptive, then feel free to report me. -- HistoryofIran ( talk) 17:26, 6 January 2023 (UTC) reply
Well atleast you realized that you have also written unsourced things in Wikipedia... Well, evidences of Muawiyah RA's praise are as equal as evidences of Muawiyah RA's bad qualities; so why are you being so biased and showing one side only?? Show both sides, Sunni side and Shia side...you are only portraying Shite version of Muawiyah RA, don't be so biased...I know you hate Muawiyah RA but that doesn't mean you become so unfair that you hide the Sunni side of Muawiyah RA... I hope you understand User:HistoryofIran.. Barkatay ( talk) 05:56, 20 May 2023 (UTC) reply
I don't hate anyone (and If I did, it's none of your concern), and I couldn't care less. I only care what WP:RS say, something which clearly isn't the case with you. -- HistoryofIran ( talk) 11:43, 20 May 2023 (UTC) reply
Funny enough that you talk about WP:RS when clearly there are many unsourced facts in Muawiyah I such as this sentence, "Following the assassination of Ali in 661, Mu'awiya compelled Ali's son and successor Hasan to abdicate and Mu'awiya's suzerainty was acknowledged throughout the Caliphate." where is the source of this sentence? Who wrote this unsourced sentence and why didn't you remove it? Just because this sentence didn't harm your ideology of your belief in Muawiyah I, you left it as it is; and when I wrote similar sentence you immediately reverted it! What is this behaviour Mr. User:HistoryofIran? Please, for god sake, be fair...
I know you will pay 0% attention to my words and justify ur actions anyways but this "biasedness" is not the good thing to do, that you are doing... Be fair, no matter what ideology u follow. Please show both sides of coins instead of being so biased enough to show Shite version of Muawiyah only... Barkatay ( talk) 12:54, 20 May 2023 (UTC) reply
Sigh... It's a FA article ( WP:FA), everything is sourced to the core. The lede is not supposed to be sourced, as it's based on the body of the article, which is sourced ( WP:LEDE). But I didn't expect you to know anything else except disruption and bad manners, as you are clearly WP:NOTHERE. Also, unlike you, I don't have any ideology as I couldn't care less, but I believe I've already told you that. Don't bother pinging me, I have turned off receiving notifications from you. -- HistoryofIran ( talk) 13:09, 20 May 2023 (UTC) reply
