I noticed that you removed a prod from an unreferenced BLP here. Just wanted to let you know that all new BLPs must now have a reference otherwise they should be prodded, no matter how notable they appear. The prod should not be remo for example, Andy Fallis, Ettienne Brits and the like, I now understand the difference between those which pass CRIN and which do not.

Hi AA. See the usual place for the latest playground behaviour. He's tried to have another go at you as well as me. Sticks and stones, of course, and quite pathetic. Dweller spotted it on his watchlist and immediately applied a long-term block.
Daft must be a very sad and bitter individual to carry on a grudge like this for such a long time. When I was on SPI I looked at his original talk page and he's been at it for nearly four years on and off. Have a look at the post that was sent by one of his former ACS committee colleagues in Jan 2008. I reckon you only need to substitute "WP guidelines" for "schedules agreed with the printers" and it could have been written today. He's still on the ego trip and I just love the one about how his "distinguished expert" pals evidently don't reciprocate: at least two of them were on that committee! But I think the key point is that Daft "likes nothing more than to confront anyone who does not agree with his singular version of events and undoubtedly he will insist that everything written above is either false or unfair". Nail on the head.
Have a good weekend. ---- Jack | talk page 05:20, 29 October 2011 (UTC)
Hi AA. You shouldn't have to put up with this so I suggest you revert your talk page to the last responsible edit and summarise with "rv troll (see SPI/Daft) per WP:DENY". The troll in question is of course the usual Daft/Tillman/KestevenBullet playground inhabitant. I'll take it to SPI. ---- Jack | talk page 14:46, 31 October 2011 (UTC)

Second page stats coming up.
A Kent cricketer turns up to a County Championship match in 1897. Scores a king pair. His team-mate says: "Eee, lad, ye didna do too well there."
The cricketer replies: "No, but in 110 years time I will have an article on Wikipedia".
What an awesome world we live in. Bobo . 20:57, 1 December 2011 (UTC)
I think it might also be worth looking at Repolemis ( talk + · tag · contribs · deleted contribs · logs · filter log · block user · block log · CA · CheckUser( log) · investigate · cuwiki) who was on the Staffordshire CCC page immediately before the IP and again seems to have been "correcting" your work. I don't have any strong views about North v South players. The match did have more prestige in Victorian times than in the 20th century because they tended to feature the best players around (unlike GvP which featured WG and the best 11 pros around) but it wasn't a series. The games were organised ad hoc, even though they were sometimes held three times in a season. As long as the matches were first-class, there can be no problem in adding the category to players who took part. The purpose of categories is to help readers find relevant articles; they are not there to provide some exclusive list or define an elite. Daft is missing the point of categories as an aid to readers. ---- Jack | talk page 20:25, 6 December 2011 (UTC) apologies for the cheap shot - but an encyclopaedia is about accuracy and you are inaccurate - see the many books on that era. Jack is also inaccurate and you will note, he always takes on board my advice. Good luck - I was u/e at 24 during the early 80's - it's no fun. Hi. In Geoff Smith (cricketer), you recently added a link to the disambiguation page Braintree ( check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. For more information, see the FAQ or drop a line at the DPL WikiProject.

Hi AssociateAffiliate, I saw your requests at WP:CRIC/GR, I'll get to them in the next couple of days. Your request led me to have a look at your user page and I noticed the pictures of prominent politicians who you allege are controlled by some group (sorry, I've forgotten its name). I was wondering if you have considered whether that part of your user page is entirely consistent with the BLP policy? Perhaps if you cast your views as "I believe that ..." rather than presenting them as if they were facts? Just my thoughts, I'm wondering what you think. Regards, EdChem ( talk) 04:58, 17 January 2012 (UTC)
AA, there's a bunch of reasons why you need to remove that section, asap, including most notably BLP and WP:UP#POLEMIC. You're lucky EdChem isn't trigger-happy. Hi AssociateAffiliate, firstly let me thank you for acting on the issue I raised, I asked you here because policy encourages us to raise concerns with each other and your response demonstrates why that is desirable – potential problems are addressed simply and quietly without drama – so well done. Let me offer some friendly advice by noting a couple of points you might want to bear in mind for the future (apologies if I'm saying things you already know):
Regards, EdChem ( talk) 03:29, 18 January 2012 (UTC)
I copy and paste the list of players to a Microsoft Excel file - as plain text, which copies them to two columns. I then put, into the immediate cell to the right, =COUNTA(A:B) which counts every occupied cell within the two columns. Bobo . 19:56, 17 January 2012 (UTC)

Please allow the AfC editors to review articles before taking further action on them. There was a clear message at the top of the article stating that it was under review. The article had been moved from AfC to mainspace (by me) only a few minutes before you proposed it for deletion! Because the CCL was now into its second season and had received substantial coverage in the Indian media, it seems to adequately meet WP:GNG. Sionk ( talk) 19:12, 22 January 2012 (UTC)
Hi AssociateAffiliate, just because of can find no mention of him on Cricinfo or CricketArchive (I personally don't think that no article or web site can be 100% correct and perfect) doesn't mean that Carl Didn't play first-class cricket as the article states. He did play for the then Ceylon team so as his school mate Ashley Silva (but I couldn't find relevant articles to prove Ashley's). Sent to Admin - just look at JM's user history(1000 or so edits worth). If you still disagree then I'd been surprised. Sorry to come back but this is a blatant sockpuppet for God's sake. Pleae note the attacks made on Golden Age of Cricket by BJ and Cricket 1940-44 by JM - they are as plain as possible. Can we please have action regarding Jim Hardie who is a blatant sockpuppet of Blackjack. Evidence - Jim Hardie has made over a hundred edits to pre=1800 cricket since 18th Feb whem user Blackjack 'retired'. No other editor has made these type of edits except Blackjack - these being tidying of references etc. He has attacked the entries of another editor using the same language, the same phrases, the same inside knowledge that was used when Blackjack was previously identified as an aggressive sockpuppet some time ago. He has used 'pretend' conversations between himself and Blackjack in a manner seen previously when he was using BartMaverick, Orrelly Man, JamesJJames sockpuppets. To summarise - Hardie has been active since Blackjack went silent - he edits the same esoteric edits using the same turns of phrase - attacks other editors in the same manner and has used similar expresions found on the Blackjack Midnight Rambler and Stumpsite website. Jim Hardie is blackjack. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.155.74.151 ( talk) 07:02, 16 April 2012 (UTC)

Regarding this: considering that his first edit was to revert and he used an edit summary that named Blackjack (all things that it's very unlikely for a new user to do), I definitely think it would be worth getting a CU to check it out. Jenks24 ( talk) 12:55, 11 November 2011 (UTC)

Second page stats coming up.
A Kent cricketer turns up to a County Championship match in 1897. Scores a king pair. His team-mate says: "Eee, lad, ye didna do too well there."
The cricketer replies: "No, but in 110 years time I will have an article on Wikipedia".

Please take them down before someone less sensitive files an entirely unnecessary ANI report on you. Cheers, -- Dweller ( talk) 16:55, 17 January 2012 (UTC)

His school is Nalanda College Colombo and check details here Battle of the Maroons. So many other articles can't be wrong about Carl. Hope you understand the situation.
