Baroness Cox has not been involved with Christian Solidarity Worldwide since 2003. She successfully sued the Evening Standard for the false article that has now been referenced on her page. It is a subjective statement to say the film was anti-Islamic. Check out www.worldcommittee on Disability, all of her disability work has been removed. This is libel!!!

Well the fact is that the macbook pro does get insanely hot and it deserves to be mentioned, you can have whole artilces for episodes with so much infomation yet no references, and they get all clear, yet this section doesn't. That's not what Template talk:Expand says. Some people find them too ugly/long-term to put in articles themselves, though it's higher visibility that way, which I think is useful. Please, do not delete entries from this list without a good reason. The fact that they do not have an article on Wikipedia doesn't mean they shouldn't appear in the list. Also, the criteria for a list and for an article are not the same (See Wikipedia:Lists_(stand-alone_lists)#Lead_and_selection_criteria). I've also added a disclaimer to the list - I'm the author of Appetizer and although it doesn't have an article (yet), it has been reviewed in several notable websites and magazines, and I can provide the ref if necessary. So you are deleting my changes based on a COI criteria only? Did you check at all if the apps you've deleted are notable? As far as I know, it is not recommended to create articles with which you have a conflict of interest however it's not forbidden. Additionnally, one of the reaons I write about dock application is because I've created one, researched the topic, discussed it with users and got their feedback, and therefore know more about the subject than most people. Additionnally, right now, without looking much, I can find a dozen of articles who are known to have COI issues and yet remain on Wikipedia. Are you going to delete them all and block their authors? Yes.. thousands of kids go to summer camp each year. But how many world famous entertainers, singers, actors, etc go to summer camp each year. It would be a non-noteworthy fact if there were a reference to you and your summer camp experience because you are not a famous and influential person. I reverted your removal of text regarding ID3 support. The referenced forum post provides further details on the topic and while doing so refers to credible sources to substantiate its point. The source is therefor reliable. Neither implementing the post's complete content into Wikipedia nor referencing the ID3v2.x standard definitions without the further explanation would be in the interest of Wikipedia users. The issue described is a verifiable one and the referenced article provides both explanation and credible sources of information.

I can't resist pointing out that, as much as Slashdot whines about the Wikipedia, Wikipedia has a much higher Alexa ranking than Slashdot. The complaints boil down to "My God. Wikipedia is a place for readers, not writers." The fact that Wikipedia is not spam-filled is a great testament to the users and administrators able to keep a Alexa top 10 site useful with relevant content. What edits have I made this year (2009) to MaraDNS that violate the WP:COI policy? Please be aware that Wikipedia:COI#Non-controversial_edits points out I can be “Adding citations, especially when another editor has requested them” and “Deleting content that violates Wikipedia's biography of living persons policy.” Of this six edits I have done this year, one was to remove WP:BLP-violating material and the other five ( edit 1 edit 2 edit 3 edit 4 edit 5) were to add citations and did not not change in any way the text of the article, and were done only after they were requested by another editor. I have discussed all of these edits on the talk page and no other editors have disagreed with my edits.

Before deleting my edit, please explain why my addition is considered a conflict of interest or spam? I have been a user of Ancestral Quest for several years, purchasing one of its earlier versions, and buying into each subsequent release since. I've been actively involved in genealogy for over 30 years, have used other software programs, and consider AQ one of the better ones on the market.

A few days ago I sent the people at AQ an email asking them why AQ is not included in Wikipedia's article "Comparison of Genealogy Software." A couple of days later I got a reply from Gaylon Findlay, president of AQ, that he added it, but it got removed because of a COI. So, I decided that because I'm merely a "user" of the program, and not having any COI, I should be able to add it myself. Limitations should be clearly stated; not dodgingly sprinkled. Some of this information is not already included and is necessary for a complete and unbiased description. For example, the photography issue you are referring to does not make any mention of its limitations with "image texting," and as such, is misleading. Hello again. I prefer to maintain all communication within Wiki; much more practical. Regarding sending images as text with a first or second generation iPhone, it is NOT possible. Alastair, would you accept this as a source that Apple has admitted there are issues between iPod Classics and iTunes 9? I find it odd that many, many users are reporting issues between iPod Classics and iTunes 9, and yet it can't be mentioned on the Wikipedia page simply because the complaints occur on an anonymous forum (albeit one maintained by Apple). In my opinion, Wikipedia's standards are flawed: there should be some consideration given for overwhelming anecdotal evidence; at least editors should be able to mention that overwhelming anecdotal evidence exists.
