What does "old Celtic language" mean? There is no such thing. There might be old Welsh, old Brythonic, old Scots ... 172.175.127.8 06:14, 23 Dec 2004 (UTC)
The first Celts lived in Central Europe, and spread from there. Their language is the old Common Celtic. Anthony Appleyard 08:44, 6 Mar 2005 (UTC)

When you break off text from one page and move it into another, the polite (and legal) thing to do is note that in the edit that adds the moved text. :) -- mav 01:47, 31 May 2005 (UTC)
Merrimac seems fine to me and wikified, what exactly needs to be cleaned up? Elfguy 14:22, 22 Jun 2005 (UTC)
I saw that the Boston article is one of your projects and that you have participated in the last attempt to get the article featured. I have been working on cleaning up and adding information to the article, and was wondering if you would be able to assist in some way (notably in terms of written references).
Recently, a group a people from Louisville, Kentucky got that article to featured status. If people from the Boston area could do the same, I believe the Boston article also has a chance at being featured. Pentawing 21:23, 31 July 2005 (UTC)
Needs cleaning, as does FartLog. 152.163.100.138 06:44, 8 August 2005 (UTC)
Thanks for the reply. For the MA town infobox, I can't see what makes it "unique" since it looks similar to other city infoboxes. Can you clarify that for me? Or do you mean something else?
As for the Boston article, there are several concerns that have to be addressed before the article reaches featured status. I placed a to-do list in the discussion page mentioning them. If you see something that the article needs, please add it to the list. Hopefully more people would be willing to help get the article featured. Pentawing 01:59, 9 August 2005 (UTC)
I placed the article up for peer review again in hopes of finally getting the article featured. I was wondering if you are willing to help. Pentawing 01:45, 16 October 2005 (UTC)
I was wondering if you can help with the article (in particular, history, sports, medicine, and utilities). Someone felt that these sections need to be expanded. Thanks. Pentawing 01:15, 4 November 2005 (UTC)
You've done a great job repairing alot of problems I think I've caused with the infobox. However, I'm now left with problems with Shrewsbury, Massachusetts. I can't make it work for Shrewsbury but also work for Merrimac, Massachusetts. Can you? I can't work on it any more this weekend, so I'm sorry to have to abandon it for now. -- Mark Adler 02:26, 6 November 2005 (UTC)
Hey AaronS, as a fellow Masshole, I'd like to invite you to one of our Meetups. If you can come at any point, we'd love to have you and hear your sugguestions about the upcoming Wikimania 2006!! Drop me a line at my talk page, or the Meetup page, and we look forward to meeting you! - Mys e ku rity 06:11, 16 November 2005 (UTC)
Hey, I just noticed that you marked the UCC as a part of project Massachusetts. I am not sure what you intend to do with the United Church of Christ article, but maybe you should link to congregationalism instead. the UCC is a merger of congregationalists and the German Evangelical and Reformed tradition that is decidedly Un-massachusetts in origin. Cheers! MPS 17:14, 16 November 2005 (UTC)

Aloha. On Clam chowder you removed, "especially in San Francisco" regarding sourdough bread bowls, with the edit summary: rv: what's so special about San Francisco? Sources? San Francisco is known worldwide for its "San Francisco sourdough bread" (however, with locals it's not as popular) and tourists often experience it as part of clam chowder in Fisherman's Wharf. It's something many tourists try when they come to the city. There are thousands of sources for this claim, including this one. Another interesting quote: "Since 1849, the Boudin family has baked the original San Francisco sourdough bread; clam chowder in a sourdough bread bowl is a signature San Francisco dish." You can clain PD on an image without a source. If you created the image see Image:Gonzales courthouse 2005.jpg for an example of how to source. If you did not create the image you cannot claim PD without permission from the copyright holder. Relisted image at ifd -Thanks Nv8200p talk 13:49, 24 December 2005 (UTC)

Removal of large chunks of text with no explanation meets my definition of vandalism, regardless of the topic, and regardless of the person doing it. I'm not the only administrator who feels this way. Do what you will. — FREAK OF NURxTURE ( TALK) 16:13, Jan. 4, 2006
