Hi there. When
editing an article on Wikipedia there is a small field labeled "
Edit summary" under the main edit-box. It looks like this:
The text written here will appear on the Recent changes page, in the page revision history, on the diff page, and in the watchlists of users who are watching that article. See m:Help:Edit summary for full information on this feature.
Filling in the edit summary field greatly helps your fellow contributors in understanding what you changed, so please always fill in the edit summary field. If you are adding a section, please do not just keep the previous section's header in the Edit summary field – please fill in your new section's name instead. Thank you. -- Geniac ( talk) 15:33, 17 February 2010 (UTC)
Hi - do you have references for your recent edits to this article? Please note that unsourced material may be removed - see WP:V. Letdorf ( talk) 13:56, 22 February 2010 (UTC).
Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, adding content without
citing a
reliable source, as you did with

It may be better to explain what you are trying to do on the related talk page Talk:Vehicle registration plates of the United Kingdom. Please stop altering the Grimsby Town page, if your edits were improvements they would not be reverted, but putting sentences in like "slapped them really hard" in different sections, or saying that Grimsby never returned to the second tier level in the eighties section when they did...twice, is just going to get your edits reverted. Also making a new section called "Back in the lower basement division" ???. Other small things like saying Doncaster is one of the closest professional clubs too Grimsby when you have 4 or more clubs that are closer etc. If you want to edit the article, please improve it with valid and truthful information, but any more edits like you have been doing is disruptive and will be reverted as many times as you edit it.
