When editing Wikipedia, there is a field labeled " Edit summary" below the main edit box. It looks like this:
Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)
Please be sure to provide a summary of every edit you make, even if you write only the briefest of summaries. The summaries are very helpful to people browsing an article's history.
Edit summary content is visible in:
Please use the edit summary to explain your reasoning for the edit, or a summary of what the edit changes. You can give yourself a reminder to add an edit summary by setting

Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary.
You just got reverted at the Weinstein article because of this (don't worry, I put your changes back in). It would be a REALLY good idea to always use an edit summary. It is anyway, but editing without an account I think probably increases your reversion risk a lot. Hope this helps.

I reverted your edit to BPD because the acronym is never used in Bipolar disorder, which is not too surprising if, as you say, its not commonly used. Leschnei ( talk) 01:33, 31 December 2018 (UTC)
