The specialist schools programme has ended and school no longer get extra funding for a specialism. No school should have these categories added, but especially academies who have opted out of the scheme altogether... please dont add these categories to school articles. I'm sorry but your reasoning is very strange.... you seem to think that once added, a category can never be removed from an article? Even when that category is no longer appropriate or accurate? That is not what categories are meant to do i'm afraid. I don't have to ask permission to delete categories from articles when they are not needed, so please stop readding them as it can be seen as vandalism.
