You've started reverting a number of my edits. And you've put a note on my talk page about vandalism. Let me explain. I've been looking at some categories for genus names for various plants. They commonly list a number of species by scientific, binomial name, i.e. [Genus Name] [species name]. The genus name is capitalized; the species name is not.
I've found that in some lists, some of these names are alphabetized by the Genus Name (seemingly logical, since it comes first). Others are alphabetized by species name (i.e., the second part), beginning with a lower case letter.
It seems that the second way is the usual practice. It makes sense. Typically, most or all of the entries in the list begin with the same Genus Name. Alphabetize it that way, and you get everything under one long letter of the alphabet.
In any case, it seems to me that it is good to do all of the entries in a list one way--whichever way that is.
That's what I've been doing. If it's wrong, I beg your pardon. But by definition, it's not vandalism since I'm doing it in good faith, looking to improve things. 140.147.236.194 ( talk) 22:07, 8 April 2010 (UTC)Stephen Kosciesza
Hi, I just edited the page on Demi Moore. It said her birth name was Demi, which was in fact a shortened version of her name Demetria. When I changed it to Demetria and added a reference (which wasn't there in the first place as the sentence also says where she was born, NOT written by me, but still not referenced). I don't get what was wrong and I don't like being accused of vandalism. I was trying to update the encyclopedia, y'know...the point of Wikipedia?? Why was I accused of vandalism? Hi 5, just wanted to say I haven't yet seen Friday's EastEnders so I'm glad you've reverted plot that wasn't in the episode - I can't do it because I didn't know what happened yet. I'm assuming the additions to Syed and Amira's pages are ok :) anemoneprojectors talk 19:41, 24 April 2010 (UTC)
look what someone made! anemoneprojectors talk 20:44, 24 April 2010 (UTC)
A disaster! Stacey and Jean both leaving! Wonder if they're regretting axing 6 yet... Anemone Projectors 23:14, 28 April 2010 (UTC)
I just found this though I haven't read it yet. Thought you should know. Anemone Projectors 00:26, 29 April 2010 (UTC)
I see you weren't picked for the checkuser/oversight elections. Sad face? Maybe, by the way, it is time to add a nice template to this page so a bot can come along and archive it all for you :) Anemone Projectors 22:49, 7 May 2010 (UTC)
Woohoo, you have been archived! That's much better, took me ages to find this section before ;) Anemone Projectors 16:36, 8 May 2010 (UTC)
Oh My God I've been rushed off my feet tonight! First Kim Fox returning, then Mercy's gran joining, with a first name and a new face, then Zsa Zsa and Leon axed! Phew!!! :) Anemone Projectors 00:15, 11 May 2010 (UTC)
