Hello, I'm ToBeFree. I noticed that in this edit to Business Initiative Directions, you removed content without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, the removed content has been restored. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. ~ ToBeFree ( talk) 16:05, 19 March 2018 (UTC) reply

Hi, could you take a moment to explain, in accordance with WP:RS and WP:NOR, why you think that referenced information should be removed from the article? Please add your explanation to the talk page of the article. In this case, this is Talk:Business Initiative Directions. Your recent editing history at Business Initiative Directions shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See BRD for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. Notice of Edit warring noticeboard discussion

Information icon Hello. This message is being sent to inform you that there is currently a discussion involving you at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Edit warring regarding a possible violation of Wikipedia's policy on edit warring. Thank you. HanotLo ( talk) 17:40, 19 March 2018 (UTC) reply

Let's get real. This is not some technerd edit war. This is a truth war. Stop spreading fake news. I am not interested in edit wars. We should be more responsible. Check the articles, not just the source. Check the source, the context. The articles cited even stated that they were not 100% correct about their research. Do read the articles and analyse deeply, do not just cite. Wikipedia articles are not worthy based on citations, but based on how factual or truthful it is.=

Please read these sources carefully, and understand

Stated in the note. Started out the note stating from Samoa Observer, and then, it is no longer there.

If you read in the comments, Devin Savage wrote: Hey all- I am a Dentist in Germany. I go to BID meetings and I network with other businesspeople and participate in the quality seminars. Those of you who are piling on here seem to be missing the point. It's about meeting people, networking and talking about what our businesses do. It's about marketing your business. It's like going to church on Sunday, only you are talking quality and business, not religion. The weekends are a whole lot of work and it takes a crew to put everything together. I have been to Madrid to the offices there- they are mostly into marketing and company research, the awards are only a small part of the picture. They like to bring companies from the same countries together for networking. If you are from Samoa (for example) and you run a legitimate business with concern for your clientele's needs, you would meet and greet with other companies from your country and other parts of the world. It's like internet dating for companies. This kind of networking happened at every BID conference that I have attended. The cities are Geneva, Paris, London, Frankfurt and NYC. The hotels are great and the food has been excellent. BID also handles the visas for attendees. Of course instead of going to Paris and having a great time networking with like-minded people you could hide in your own business behind your desk, right? You have to be open minded. If 3900 euro is lots of money to you maybe you shouldn't come. BID can research your business but they can't make you come to the convention. All they can do is send you a letter, right? What were you expecting? If you don't understand the value here maybe the BID conventions are not for you.

I don’t know, but I can say that what the letter you posted implies is simply not true. Mr Prieto is 73 years old and a very sweet gentleman. One person that helps him a lot is a retired Mathematics professor Emeritus at the Technical University of Madrid. What is true is that they have a lot of young people working for them, I would say there are about 30 people there. They do research, marketing, blogging and make videos for other companies. They are not coerced, and when I was there everyone was sitting at their desks happily going about their work. They have been doing this since the early 1980's. If it were not real, I think it would have fizzled out long ago. I am sure there are mistakes made. It is simply impossible for them to go to companies all around the world and check up on them. They use “big data” now, some of that comes from Linkedin and other sites where the customers create their own content like Yelp. There are also referrals from past members and lots of things going on there that I don't know about yet.

I want to use them for a crowdfunding campaign I plan to do in the US. I think they are perfect for that . Many of them speak perfect English, and some speak multiple languages. There are some very smart people there. If they make mistakes, I believe they make very few of them. So another point I want to make is that the events are a lot of work. They have to ship crates of things from Madrid to whatever city the event will be held at, and it costs a small fortune. The large staff has to be paid, the airline tickets bought, the hotel rooms paid for and so on. So the more I think about it, the 3900 Euro is not too bad. Now I wonder if they really make any money doing it, or is it more to keep interest in their marketing business? As someone who knows them quite well, the criticisms here are made from a standpoint of ignorance about them. I really like them and what they do, and I plan to continue going there and making contacts and learning and speaking about quality and business.

Like I mention, these are all opinion-based sources, included the citations I removed.

So are we going to stick to pure facts, or opinions?
