I'm not going to bother edit-warring over it, but it's your grammar that's lacking not mine if you think "The political and legal status of Taiwan are contentious issues" is better or more correct English than "The political and legal status of Taiwan is a contentious issue", the long-standing version that I put the page back to and which allows for the fact that "status" can be read as a quasi-collective noun (for want of the correct technical term). The version you finally settled on, "The political and legal statuses of Taiwan are contentious issues", isn't much better. You've also insisted on changing - without mentioning it in the edit summary, or addressing the points I raised - the long-standing wording about military action. Finally, it would also appear that you - or someone at this corporate IP address - are also editing from another address. N-HH talk/ edits 23:05, 16 October 2012 (UTC)

Hi there - thanks for your comment about Culver Academies. I do not think you are trying to vandalise the article, but the school's website is not a reliable source for information as it is not independent. Can you find an independent source for the school's history?
