Believe it or not, I make edits on Wikimedia sites in languages that I don't know - including the
East Asian languages known to natives as nihongo and hangukeo. You might be wondering what I do on these sites. The answer is that I mainly help
fight the common phenomenon on wiki sites known as "
vandalism".
extremely fluent with
Canadian English as my native tongue and have previously studied four years of
Canadian French in high school - although my parents try to prevent me from losing my knowledge in
Cantonese and
Mandarin and had me regularly watch
Fairchild TV and/or listen to
Fairchild Radio during mealtimes
a subscriber to websites like
Engadget,
Mashable, and
The Verge - but if I had to name one over the rest, the site
Windows Central which offers lots of free goodies for readers (such as the latest
Surface Pro despite its despicable price tag)
participating in a variety of
sports - I have played
soccer,
basketball,
badminton, and have hundreds of laps of
swimming under my belt, believe me, though I have no intention to be a professional
athlete - I'm even reluctant to take
martial arts classes even though I have done so in the past
an avid
pianist with my ARCT-level performance diploma from
RCM Examinations - I recently joined a
worship band at my church and aspire getting into
jam sessions, becoming a
musician by night (though my schedule may make this difficult to achieve, at least in the near future)
so excited to contribute to
Wikipedia, the free
encyclopedia! Great things are in store for me
if and only if I become an
administrator, which is (unfortunately) unlikely for a reason that appears somewhere else on this page.
