Mission Statement

The Los Angeles Clippers task force of Wikipedia:WikiProject National Basketball Association is a task force that was started on 20 May 2015 (2015-05-20) with a mission of better organizing and improving the English Wikipedia's coverage of the Los Angeles Clippers franchise. This task force covers the creation and editing of articles related to the Los Angeles Clippers of the National Basketball Association.

Task force members should be cognizant that we also support the mission and guidelines of our parent project. We should help out with its tasks in absence of any of our own.

Divisions Scope

As examples, an article falls under our scope if:

  • It is a page on a Clippers player, past or present.
  • It is a page on a Clippers coach, past or present.
  • It is a page on a member of Clippers management or ownership, past or present.
  • It is a page on a Clippers broadcaster, past or present.
  • It is a page on a Clippers season.
  • It is a page on a NBA Finals, or other playoff series, the Clippers were in.
  • It is a page on a current Clippers minor leaguer.
  • It is a page on a former Clippers prospect who was traded, but received ample media coverage in Los Angeles.
  • It is a page on a current minor league affiliate, or past ones who affiliation with the Clippers is notable.
  • It is a page on a member of a minor league affiliates coaching staff, ownership, or management, past or present.
  • It is a page on a book, television show, radio program, or movie featuring the Clippers.
  • It is a page on any other topic of interest to the Clippers fan.

In other words, any article related to the Los Angeles Clippers is in the scope of this task force.
As of 29 May 2015, there are 2,597 articles referencing the Clippers.

Mission Statement
