My name is Magen Eissenstat, and I am a student at Rice University. I am interested in topics relating to social justice, LGBT studies, poverty, mental illness, the prison system, and a host of other things. For an educational assignment in an upper-level course, I created the "Homelessness among LGBT Youth in the United States" page, and for a similar course, I created "Mentally ill people in United States jails and prisons." I am excited to be a new member of the Wikipedia community.
