Gosh I'm getting majorly stressed out by my HCI assignment. Is it a good idea to choose wikipedia as the topic when there's so litle time (just barely over two weeks)? I'm not particularly technie, neither do I like reading massive amounts of text on the monitor. Well, since I'd agreed to try out Wikipedia in the name of research, I thought I'll write something which I know a little bit about.
The photo on the right was shot with a toy camera. A toy camera is usually by definition made of cheap plastic and has minimal controls for taking photographs. The lens and camera body are often poorly designed and constructed, hence photographs taken with such cameras often demonstrate light leaks, lack of sharpness, vignetting and other assorted issues. Despite and even because of these flaws, toy cameras are being used by enthusiasts all over the world, including some renowned photographers such as David Burnett.
