I will shortly (July 2008) be becoming more active on Wikipedia. My goal is to create and improve psychology articles, which are currently patchy and poor compared to, say, physics articles. I intend to focus on articles in one of my areas of expertise, the psychology of self and identity (e.g., self-concept, self-esteem, self-control). I will be directing, along with my colleague Aiden Gregg, a Wikipedia Task Force of postgraduate students who will create and edit articles on self and identity, under the general rubric of the Psychology WikiProject. This enterprise will be initiated at a summer school organized by the EAESP to be held in August 2008 in Cardiff.
