Pisaura mirabilis
Pisaura mirabilis is a species of arachnid in the family Pisauridae, the nursery web spiders. It has a palearctic distribution, being found all over Europe, and also inhabits the Canary Islands and Madeira, the Asian part of Russia, China and North Africa. It lives in all habitats but prefers wet environments, and inhabits all strata from the ground to the top of trees, at altitudes up to 1,100 metres (3,600 feet), but is not found under rocks or in caves. The spider has relatively long legs, the fourth pair being the longest, and a slender opisthosoma. Males are 10 to 13 millimetres (0.39 to 0.51 in) in length, while females are 12 to 15 millimetres (0.47 to 0.59 in). About

I am a 20-something-year-old student residing in Los Angeles, California in the United States. All other things you might want to know about me (and that I care to share) can be seen in the userboxes below.

Purpose

I edit Wikipedia to beautify articles and bring them to at least Good Article status. I have recently gotten into reviewing Good Article nominees and love it when I promote an article but I am nitpicky when it comes to a lot of things (especially references, grammar, and punctuation). I will bust your butt and make you work hard if I am reviewing your article! But all-in-all, I edit Wikipedia for fun.

If you have something that you would like me to work on, please let me know and, assuming I have the time, I will work on it the best I can!
