Early in the morning of 7 October 2023, approximately 3000 militants, [77] [78] from Hamas, Palestinian Islamic Jihad, the PFLP, and DFLP, [79] breached the Gaza fence and attacked multiple locations in Southern Israel. [77] [78] Following this the IDF blckaided, bombed, and then invaded the Gaza Strip.
Israeli first responders reportedly recovered documents from killed militants' bodies with instructions to attack civilians, including elementary schools and a youth center, to "kill as many people as possible", and to take hostages for use in future negotiations.[ citation needed] [80] [81] [82] [83]

Lurking in an open tab. Irtapil ( talk) 20:18, 17 December 2023 (UTC)
