My name is Gavin Wade Hougham; I am a sociologist. My current interests are higher education, sociology, aging, health, medicine, geriatrics, gerontology, history, Japan, photography, art, architecture, woodworking, technology, industrial processes, machining, (and others).
"Anomicworld" is a silly handle I chose to reflect part of my worldview that things sometimes appear chaotic, orderless, or normless ( anomic), but that a search for pattern or meaning will almost always be rewarded.
