Per the MOS and WP:ERA, the AD/BC versus CE/BCE distinction of the original creator should be maintained by subsequent editors and needless revert wars avoided. Dbach not only established the entry as AD/BC but obviously did so consciously. Pending new consensus at the discussion page linked there by Dbach, the MOS still stands.
